Reasons Chinese Buying Realestate?
Lots of Chinese around in Pattaya, young couples. Put up a sign to sell/rent our Pattaya City house and it was bought within a week. Lots of young Chinese couples. Why are they buying up Pattaya? My wife thinks they can now get a 99 year agreement to own the house and land. -

At this moment she is 50,000 votes shy of Gallego and it still hasn't been called as there are a few hundred thousand votes to count. The steal has been in for Kari Lake in Arizona as they simply don't want her in a position of power there. -

Where did you retire and why
Interesting….I have been in Bangkok for 7+ years and am currently in Danang. I certainly couldn’t stay here. There is something about it that I can’t put my finger on….but it’s an uncomfortable feeling. It’s not a user friendly country/city…it’s far more foreign than Thailand and there is an underlying sketchy vibe. I wouldn’t want to retire here personally (visa issues aside) -

Woman Clings to Husband's Car in Furious Confrontation Over Alleged Affair
In a dramatic and harrowing encounter in the early hours of November 10, a 48-year-old woman in Phatthalung sustained injuries after clinging to the hood of her husband's car upon discovering him allegedly with another woman at a bar. The confrontation ended with her being assaulted and left by the roadside. The incident took place on the Aphai Burirak Road near Khuan Maprao Temple. Police in Phatthalung City responded to reports of an injured woman crying on the roadside. Rescuers arrived to find the woman with bruises on her body and appearing intoxicated. According to her account, she had noticed her husband's social media post at a local bar and drove to the location, where she found him in the company of another woman. She confronted him inside the bar, leading to a heated argument. In an attempt to leave with the other woman, her husband got into his car, and in a desperate bid, she jumped onto the hood. The woman held onto the car as her husband drove for approximately six kilometres before she lost her grip and fell onto the road. She claims her husband then exited the car and physically assaulted her, leaving her bruised and injured before driving away. Rescue personnel provided initial medical treatment and transported her to the hospital for further examination. Police have advised her to file an official complaint, and further investigations are underway. Picture captured from CCTV. -- 2024-11-11 -
