...provide a private and secure location for the sample collection.

Does that mean from now on, the police will have to  carry around  mobile toilet booth every time they try to catch drunk drivers?

The new essential to cater for their new method:

Lavatory Wagon, often seen at Thai carnivals.

maybe the same way you get medically checked for your drivers license. by a licensed MD.

I gave Somchai the resident motosai taxi dude at the village I live at 100b for  my med cert... I think he got it from a local clinic.

It actually is a good idea and should create less corruption as a hospital will now be in the loop.  Unless, people think hospitals can/will be corrupted.

Switching blood/urine samples in the hospital test laboratory for a price donated in a brown envelope?

So you will have pissheads trying to piss in a small container while pissed.

It is going to be messy.

if you have had a couple you are better off with the breathalyzer that is more likely to show a lower reading. But always carry  a bottle of water in the car and rinse your mouth with water before blowing.

Say what?? Washing your mouth out with water lowers the alcohol reading 🤣 what planet you from. I take science was not one of your subjects at school. 🙈🙈

So that is ,.05.  Pretty low level.  Same as my state.  Some states are .08.   they say a 43kg woman will fail .05 after one glass of wine.   Average 85kg male after 2 strong beers.

Losing your license to drive us a serious thing here in USA.   But in Thailand I'm sure people will just keep driving.

alcohol in their blood—and 20 milligrammes for those under 20 years old—will be charged with drunk driving

I heard on the radio that provisional licenced and those under 20 years old, will be 20 milligrammes.

So those unlicensed, 20 milligrammes or 50?

I reckon we will see more girls charged, lots of young girls working on fake ID's, regularly downing those lady drinks.

If they refuse to blow what makes them think making them urinate will be easier, police can’t take blood so will need to be done in a hospital environment and i bet they haven’t even spoken to the health ministry to see where they stand legally under current thai laws
