croftrobin Posted October 16 Posted October 16 I am trying to book a flight on air asia, Buriram to Don Mueang in January It gives me the flight at a price of about 1500 baht including 7kg carry on. Thats fine, but I want to add a suitcase also, and obviously pay a bit more, but just do not see an option to do so. Have they stopped carrying suitcases now?
poobear Posted October 16 Posted October 16 With all the constant changes it has turned into the worst airline website I have ever used. Nothing ever works. I am completely stressed and aggravated eery time I buy flights and almost alway have to go through agoda. that does not help you though because you can't add suitcases though agoda. I am sure you can add suitcases but Air Asia website SUCKS. Good luck.

The option appear in "Add-ons" along with meals, seats, and all the other options. Added after you enter passenger details. (20kg is 460.10 as an example) 2 1 1 1
TheAppletons Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Wait a day and try again. I had a similar situation booking a flight from CNX to DMK - the luggage add-on function for the flight I intended to book was inoperable. I checked other flights, same route, and luggage add-on functionality was available, so the website "problem" was with that particular flight. I waited 24 hours, tried my preferred flight again, and the error had been corrected. 1
Popular Post croftrobin Posted October 17 Author Popular Post Posted October 17 OK I have found the problem I use Firefox or Chrome for my browsing. I tried the site using EDGE and can now see the add baggage option with that browser. 1 1 1
GypsyT Posted October 18 Posted October 18 (edited) All airlines should start to weight passengers WITH luggage. That way the fares would be fair.... Skinny ones could have more luggage. Edited October 18 by GypsyT 1

My only suggestion is to go to Buriram airport at a check-in time and ask the check-in staff. They should know the policy on this.

Departure airport, arrival airport, date, number of passengers. Hit "search". Flight availability comes up. Click the flight you want then click the type of ticket you want. "Premium Flex" includes extra baggage.
