It seems they not been to a recent mor lam concert in Isaan. They are clearly overdressed and not shaking their pelvises provocative enough.

Outraged. The moment just 1 or 2 react in a negative way the headline reads "Outraged". Is "outraged" the word of the year in Thai journalism? What's next years word?

We don't have to concern ourselves with what most activists are doing. Most "activists" these days are merely netizens. Getting up off your bum and actually doing something is far different than moaning, groaning and criticizing on social media. For me, that amounts to next to zero, in terms of courage. Being outraged is simply participating in victim culture, and weak PC nonsense, which is degrading society and preformed mostly by weaklings.

Everything sparks debate these days, everything seems to offend the snowflakes, everything seems to cause "netizen outrage".

Who cares, it means nothing, it is less than zero. Outrage is simply a manifestation of weak victim culture.

A video of dancers in revealing outfits swaying at the Plai Bang police station in Nonthaburi has become a hot topic online. Released yesterday, the clip has sparked debate about the appropriateness of such displays in official public spaces.

The footage, which was shared on a popular Facebook page, shows three dancers moving rhythmically in the police station. As the clip made its rounds across social media, many netizens expressed their disapproval, questioning the setting for such an activity.

In response to the uproar, reporters visited the Plai Bang police station to seek clarification. Pol. Col. Piyawat Patcharanittham, the station’s superintendent, addressed the situation, explaining that the dancers had been at a nearby party the previous evening.

They stopped at the station to use its restroom facilities and took the opportunity to film a dance video, which they later shared on their personal Facebook accounts.

Dr. Sittisak Chiawpongpipat, head of the station's police administration inspection team, elaborated that there was an uncommon party near the station that night. Although the police had agreed to let the organisers use an adjacent space for the party, they were unaware of the recording happening within the station itself.

Upon discovery, the officers contacted the party organisers and reprimanded them over the dancers’ attire and the decision to film inside a police establishment.

While the station wants to maintain openness for public use of their facilities, they stressed the need for appropriate conduct moving forward. Efforts will be made to ensure similar incidents do not occur again, preserving the integrity and expected decorum of the police station, reported Amarin TV, Thai Newsroom.

Perhaps they were dancing to "Jail House Rock" (Elvis Presley)

What on earth is an "uncommon party"?

One that doesn't end in a mayhem of shooting.

Remember, this is the country where a senior gov't official publicly chastised a well known (female) singer for doing too many "pelvic thrusts" during her performances.

Which basically caused a fad that still goes one with almost every singer doing a few at some point during their performances.

Things like this are why we came here in the first place.

Seen thousands of dancers, where at one time they were just a backdrop they have become a more interregnal part of a show in luktung performances, morlam always had far more. Some dancers earn 100k a month, it's not just schoolgirls these days. Went out with a dancer from Seang Issan once (Nok Noi's band) she had a twin in the same dance troupe! Then you could find dancers in Thermae when it was the off season. God bless the dancers!

Hipocrisy ?🤔

If it has sparked outrage then they should stop rubbing them together or, alternatively, ensure they are properly earthed.

I'm outraged there is outrage. How is anyone, okay, admittedly fragile "Netizen" snowflakes, so easily outraged about everything and anything?

To me those "dancers" look like ladyMEN.

It's not relevant to the topic itself. But many of those creatures behave as if they own and rule the country. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Wow, you really are in the wrong country... move, or get over it.

Seems common to me.   Thailand is know for the traditional and modern striper dancers.  Some same same.   It's all for sale from top to bottom.

What's wrong with those legs?  Blurry and pixelated  but don't seem to thick or thin to me.   I prefer stout legs rather than thin twigs.   Woman has to be able to mountain bike, hike, backpack, occasionally haul out some elk meat.

I love to dress in womens clothes behind closed doors.

Does that make me a "creature" ?

You are nothing but a "bigot" and you've made my mascara run.
