If you believe Trump said this and the timing is just coincidental - well - it's time to put a helmet on when you run into walls

My father was in Patton's Third Army and fought his way through France and into Germany. His assessment of the German army and leadership was that it was far superior to any Allied army in WW11. Trump is correct in his determination that the generals that Hitler had were great tacticians. They were were much better than many diversity hire generals of today.

So, one disgruntled staff member t(that has previously told other lies) claims Trump said it, so I should vote for open borders, mass illegal immigration, more DEI, higher taxes, more giveaways, men in girls’ showers and sports?

Yeah, I don't think so. Those are things that you want, not me, so you vote for them, and I'll vote against them.

Why do you get all worked up when you claim (often falsely) that Trump lies, but you do not care at all that Harris is a cheater and Walz is a prolific liar?

So... What good things did Hitler do?

He committed suicide, yes?

You can google what other good things Hiter did if you like.

By the time Patton got into Germany, the German army was in ruins, and German generals had already tried to kill Hitler.

You are obviously unfamiliar with the way the nominations work.

She was voted for by the state electors chosen by her party.

Same as Mara-lar-do.

Perhaps you don't understand the difference between prosecuting someone for crimes, and jailing a person for their political beliefs.

You know, like Putin does in Russia. Are you okay with Navalny being jailed and killed for opposing Putin?

That concept only exists in your mind.

Trump’s vow to only be a dictator on ‘day one’ follows growing worry over his authoritarian rhetoric

I guess I just have to bite the bullet and vote for open borders, mass illegal immigration, more DEI, higher taxes, more giveaways, men in women's sports, more divided country, and men in girls’ showers.

America is doing pretty well right now.

I made a million baht off one stock alone this year. Let's not rock the boat!

Is that why you're okay with flushing the country down the drain, a bit of financial gain?

Fine, you go ahead and vote for open borders, mass illegal immigration, more DEI, higher taxes, more giveaways, men in women's sports, a more divided county and men in girls’ showers. I told you, I am out. I am against those things.

A bunch of nonsense in response to the news that Trump is a Fascist.

Next thing, you will tell us that Trump will make the trains run on time.

13 former Trump administration officials sign open letter backing up John Kelly's criticism of Trump

Thirteen former Trump White House officials signed an open letter backing up former Trump chief of staff John Kelly, who told the New York Times that Trump fits the definition of a fascist.

My opinion is that talking about Hitler is not a great closing argument for Trump.

In my view, the above (those republicans who worked closest with Trump think he's unfit and dangerous) and also a condensed summary of her positive policies vision (as opposed to Trump's America is a garbage can horror show of fear, dread, and chaos) should be her closing argument.

I don't see a benefit in repeating the fascism and loves Hitler details. That's out there already well enough.

@Yellowtail thinks that Trump's former staffers are lying about the Hitler stuff, despite

"Poisoning the blood"

"Vermin"

"The enemy within".

I guess the real question is how many Trumpers would abandon Trump if they knew he were a Fascist.

Well not all Trump voters are full on cult. The cult is about 30 percent. I think almost none of them can be changed but there are still lots of other people than could be motivated to get out and vote for Harris, or at the very least not to vote for Trump and stay home.

Also contrary to what the mage fascists say, it's clear by now that the more people see Harris, the more they like her.

As I recall Ivana Trump in divorce proceeding depositions under oath testified under oath that Donald Trump kept on his nightstand what she described as “Hitler’s speeches”.

In other words the  book Mein Kampf.

Trump has an unnatural obsession with Hitler and is definitely an incipient fascist.

Hitler's generals lost the war.  That's the kind of people he wants?

They lost the war under his instructions.

He started the war about 3-4 years before the military thought it would be ready (the navy especially weak) and then Dictated their ultimate failure.

They were not stupid or incompetent, but Hitlers incessant interference in military operations doomed their efforts to failure.

Hitler was an absolute ruler, the challenging of whose words, plans and ideas would very likely result in death.

The Liberal Democracies did not allow for such absolutism, which played a major part in their successful prosecution of military operations........had they been under Hitlers absolute command they who would have suffered the great defeats that the German military did.

The Orange Messiah wants good generals that he can also dictate to.......but they  ******* hate him.

Because they know he is a walking catastrophe, with the military competence of Saddam Hussein, who seeks to use them, like Saddam, as his personal instrument of oppression and ambition,

He aspires to Dictatorship.......the idiots worship him, the GOP went along with him because they thought, as German Conservatives of the nascent NAZI era thought of Hitler, they could manage him as their attack dog against the Democrats.

Never has it been so true that "those who do not understand history are doomed to repeat it".

Never has there been such an hubristic, ignorant, uncomprehending mass of people, so blind to understanding, as his MAGAists.

Either that or they are just plain evil and full knowingly worship at his altar of cruelty, resentment, hatred and bitterness........because, ultimately, that is their messiahs only "message".

Except that I heard all that nonsense in context, I know is just the left ginning up lies. You probably know it's all lies as well, and you're regurgitating it knowing it is untrue.

I also wonder how many people really believe the Trump is a fascist. I mean, how simple does one have to be to believe it, without any evidence at all.

One disgruntled former staffer has made claims that other staffers have denied. Maybe Trumps said Hitler did some good things, and maybe Trump said he wished his general were more like Hitler’s. So?

A lot of people claim Trump is a fascist, a dictator and they often call him Hitler, yet they never provide any evidence that he is a fascist, a dictator or Hitlerian. So, nothing but unsupported claims I see no evidence of.

Harris on the other hand has a history or supporting open borders, mass illegal immigration, more DEI, higher taxes, more giveaways, men in girls’ showers, path to citizenship, free health care and tuition for illegals, housing subsidies for illegals, men in women’s sports and prisons, defunding the police, supporting rioters, and free transition surgery for prison inmates. These are FACTS that the data support.

I am against all those things, as is (I believe) Trump. That is why I support Trump. It has nothing to do with me being afraid of a “strong black woman”, If Condoleezza Rice were running, I would vote for her. That said, I do not think Harris is strong. I think she is weak, and I think Walz is even weaker.

Again, I might be wrong, stranger things have happened.
