Silver and gold have withstood the test of time.  Time will tell how long bitcoin will be around.

Agree.  This is why my money is spread out in different investments like real estate, equities and a sizeable coin and stamp collection.

Patience is a virtue and one of the reasons I am still around.  I've always invested in things that interested me, like stocks, coins and stamps.

Indeed. BTC is not a store of value like gold. It is a proxy for the US dollar. BTC can have wild swings but gold's volatility will always be attenuated.

 

BTC has actually run contrary to gold lately. Gun runs contrary to the DXY. So what happens when the dollar crashes? Here is a chart of GOLD / BTC since september (daily).

Ive been in bitcoin since 2014 and i dont need to work anymore aged 38. Whats worked for you isnt going to work for younger generations because inflation is slowly and now quickly destroying peoples lives. Gold is just collectibles now for old people

Gold is is infinite like the dollar. It just cant stack up in terms of inflation hedge as bitcoin can. Bitcoin will become the worlds reserve currency with trump

I held from 1000 to 250, 20,000 to 3,000, and 69k to 15k. Bitcoin is the best money ever created. Im not selling
