ahead of a crucial Constitutional Court verdict expected soon.

Ah yes, the infamous Constitutional Court. Hand picked by Prayut.

What could possibly go wrong.

In a strategic move, Thaksin Shinawatra has reportedly engaged in secret discussions with influential figures,

This is what he can do best ... manipulate his corrupt circle of " influential " people .

That guy does not act for the benefit of Thailand or the  thai citizens .

Corrupt . greedy , powerhungry , he is sick of the virus of self importance .

These varied allegations, if proven, could not only dissolve the Pheu Thai Party but also decisively end Paetongtarn's tenure as Prime Minister, pending the court's final decision

I hope it will be proven .

The winner of the last election was MFP , but , with Thaksin' s help , their victory was stolen ....

Pheu thai deserves to be dissolved , and new elections after that ...

i get the distinct feeling that Thaksin does not know right from wrong....just seems like he thinks he is above the law all the time.Who are these secretive people that can influence the law ? are they dangerous to the stability of the country?do they represent the will of the people or do they have their own agenda ..? Either Thaksin return instructions were not clear or he has flouted them.

It is an absolute disgrace this convicted criminal is openly allowed to flout the law and give two fingers to the justice system on a daily basis without any repercussions.

You mean like generals overthrowing and taking a country at the end of a gun? Or maybe ordering the temple shooting and disappearing a very brave nurse? Or what about corruption so extensive and blatant that protesters were thrown in prison. Watches and massive land purchase suspected to be payment!!! If the people elect someone then that person represents the people. This is typical Thai, if loss cheat!
