Because a responsible father helps raise his children, and doesn't pawn them off on others or the state.

Outdated concept, the state wants kids to be fatherless.

The mothers don't want dad around either, just his money.

Judges, police, social services,

If everyone wants us to be the bad guy, why fight it?

And the main reason our world has most of it's problems. No dads, no structure, no male bond, girls who look to losers to replace their missing dad, children growing up with peers as their role models, a much higher chance of premarital sex, drug use and alcoholism, leading to more of the same in the next generations to come.A normal wife, and mother, would want the father around as much as possible and not just for his money but to lead the family.

The stars. Even in the countryside, there is too much haze.

The stars in my front garden two nights ago in Phitsanulok, was like looking through the Hubble.

I put on Macca's Venus & Mars song as I could see them both brilliantly.

Holst's Planets next. Or Python's Universe song. (I know Coldplay did one, but it's not as funny). 555

Dude, you're living in the past, accept and adapt to the world as it is now, you can't turn back the clock.

Well that escalated quickly. I just asked what, if anything, you missed from your home country. It has now degenerated into bickering about dysfunctional families. Should have known that would happen with some of the characters in this forum. Ho hum!🙄

I'm living in the same screwed up world as you are. I'm just more aware of what's been going on and the reasons for it. I'm not blind to the needs of a child and have always done my part as a father to try and give them a head start. The world is slowly coming to an end, and the reason is the breakdown of the family more and more every year, with children getting their  ideas about the world on phones and soap operas. The only way things would ever change is going back to the standards that were put in place when we were young, but looking at what type of role models these children have had for decades isn't promising for their children's futures.

Steak and kidney pudding, chips and gravy, going to the UK next month, will be my first meal.

Yep!!!!!

Made in Baxenden near Accrington, Lancashire. Food of the Gods.

Together with some Boddingtons pints.........heaven.

20 days once a year back in the U.K. is enough for me.

Would walk my dad’s 3 dogs on the moors, the aged Lurcher and short legged Shih Tzu-Pug would go back early then me and the Pastor Jack Russell would walk for miles, sadly those days are gone. Still get to drag my daughter’s reluctant mixed variety hound round the local beauty spots in the Yorkshire Dales though.

A couple of nights out with friends and ex colleagues I have known for decades.

Time spent with son, daughter and grandchildren is always time well spent, daughter always saves a couple of diy jobs for me !

Save some time to stock up on the necessities ( chocolate, teabags and cheese etc ) and that’s it until next year for me.

You may be lucky there, but I can see the brighter stars and planets also.  I have never seen the Milky Way or the Andromeda Galaxy while in Thailand.

My gun-steelhead and salmon fishing-killing big game for dinner-well behaved drivers that stay in their lane-going to the big city with a bag of popcorn and watching lunatic idiot lefties rioting and soiling their panties.

Divorce laws have nothing to do with hookers. You misread what I wrote.

Apparently I often misread what people write, given by some of the posts about me.

Neither did I. Too much air pollution to do so.

I'm a fan of premarital sex. Given as I think marriage should be banned, non marital sex is all that is left.

There's no need for any anomaly and sugar coating

Fresh cod and chips, two slice of farmhouse style bread with real salted butter on it.

and a pint of  London pride ale.
