The problem with you is that whatever information and fact is brought to your attention, you go on like a broken report.

 

China did attempt that, I never ignored that. But it's years ago and since then ( and because of that)  policies and regulations have been implemented to avoid it happening again. I have posted links to national artic strategy of the U.S., minerals security committee jointly created by U.S. and the EU, FDI screening act of Denmark and Greenland, etc...

It is absolutely not a "news" (and neither bad nor good from my perspective ). And Greenland has already presented its draft constitution for independence in February 2024 (link provided before), which has required several years to design it. It has been in the pipe for years already.

Trump's way of provoking this with threats of invasion which gives aid and comfort to Putin is not the way forward with Greenland.

Nobody is denying the geopolitical and resource potential importance of Greenland of course.

Greenland / Denmark have not been hostile to U.S. interests. How to make them hostile? Be like Trump.

Stop distorting what I wrote. I never dismissed China's attempt. My point is that it was years ago, that China failed,, and that policies and regulations have been implemented after that in order to prevent any further attempt. Facts.

 

Then you are lying again. I never used "years ago" about Denmark's statement. I only used it about China's attempt, which happened 6 years ago.

 

As to Denmark's statement, they only said they had neglected Greenland's defense, which has nothing to do with an old attempt by China to get a contract to build an airport.

 

And of course, when you have no substantiated argument, you resort to insults! 😆

The European NATO members must urgently and rapidly increase their defence capabilities so that they will be able to defend Greenland against occupation and annexation by the USA or Russia.

 

For all we know, once there is a peace treaty in Ukraine, Trump may join forces with his friend Putin to occupy Greenland and share the spoils.

All of a sudden, fter reading some of the posts in this topic, I am unsure whether Greenland is covered by the NATO umbrella. Does anyone know for sure?

A web search tells me that Finland, the latest NATO member, is covered by NATO, but do the other European NATO members agree?

Potty mouth comments show he is panicking. Rightly so. The Danes need to wind their necks in. Greenland as an autonomous province has the right to democratically decide whether they want to join the US and all be very rich, or continue as before.

Not sure why democratic votes like this (and Brexit) trigger the left so much? I wonder if we should use Mike Lindells new voting software to count the vote? As we know, doubting voting software is insurrection and worthy of a BILLION $ fine so nobody would question it. Happy days!!

The democratic vote in the Presidential election in 2020 sure triggered panic with Trump. To this day, he still can't get over losing.

Nothing democratic about an inexplicable "extra" 10 million mail in ballots with no id shown. If I lost thanks to democrat shennanigans which led to over a million deaths in unneccessary wars and total destruction of democratic norms and principles I'd be a bit miffed too.
