Need to be 20 years old to be in a bar , so an 18 year old would be underaged

No they are not. As long as they do not drink alcohol.

I understand that girls under 20 can legally work in bars, but they cannot drink alcohol.

I am not sure if the legal age for working is 16 or 18.

Which part of 18+ don't you understand. And, for the record, it is legal in Thailand to have a 16 year old girlfriend if her parents don't complain. Didn't we discuss this already too often

What really made the country successful? I eager to hear the winning recipe!

My girlfriend has no problem with the fact that I go to look at pretty girls from time to time. She is smart enough to know that that is what almost all men want. Obviously, there are also some men who pretend they don't want it...

I honestly get completely bored after 5 minutes watching /looking at girls on-stage dancing in bikinis .

How many men live in Thailand  and how many men are in bars looking at girls ?

It would be a very small percentage

Your gf is a very rare winner in an ugly game. Found a long term decent guy.

But I'd guess her reasons for being in the bar in the first place aren't pretty. I'd also bet that put 100 16 to 19 years olds in a bar and the large majority would end up very damaged.

I really doubt you do see it as another job. Would you be happy of your daughter chose that job?

i do see it that way, if they had better opportunities they'd work somewhere else, same 7 Eleven, factories etc

You might just take the assumption king prize away from MalcolmB. You don't know what anyone thinks besides your circle of friends who buys women, and you certainly don't know what anyone I know thinks, because most if not all of my friends and family respects all women, even if they choose a tawdry lifestyle.

Do you actually think you are helping them by paying them for having sex? They might make less money working a normal job, but it wouldn't affect them mentally and or physically as this one does, and this job can also become deadly in more ways than one.

Helping paying them a wage so they can support their families, you do nothing to help, only look down on them

Did you not read what I said about feeling sorry for them, or do you just skim and pick the written words of some apart to suit your thinking? This isn't looking down on them. These girls can support their families by working normal jobs. And a parent they have to support that coerces them to sell their bodies isn't a parent by a lowlife.

I look at women as equals, and it seems some here don't.

Does that mean you accept if they choose to sell their body? It seems to me you only accept them as equals if they behave the way you want.

You've already admitted you look down on them along with people you know, look further up the thread

I stopped going to Bangkok places for several years now I find them terrible.

Pattaya has many younger adult girls in places like Soi 6.

Khanchaburi, Udon, Phuket, online has enough to keep one busy.

I respect all women besides those that intentionally hurt others, especially children. It's not my right to judge them. A lot are forced into this trade by lowlife parents or traffickers. The ones that do it because of childhood trauma I feel sorry for, and hope they find another way.

They are victims, of either childhood abuse and or neglect, or being forced or coerced out of guilt. Do you actually think the girls you talked to are going to give you the real reasons they are doing it?

Some lie, others tell the truth.

It seems you think you know the truth about them. How do you know? How many people who work in the nightlife industry do you know and for long. I know many, and some over decades.

Maybe you listen too much to those feminists who think they know everything. They don't!

I think it's somehow funny to read how he thinks he knows what moral behavior is. It's what he does and think. And everybody else is morally bad. And according to him that has nothing to do with religion. Yeah, sure.

Bars are expensive. Look at up country and the so-called coyote girls. It seems there are more than enough guys who look at them.

And then there are obviously many many men who watch porn. Personally, I prefer them in real.

I read, and listen to others, and then decide. I've known some from my past teen and young adult days. People who respect women is who I respect. Is there something wrong with men who stick up for a woman's rights?

Where did I say everyone else is bad? You're either a moral person or you aren't. You can pick what category you want to be in, as all others do. Is it wrong to respect and stick up for woman?

Women love that liberal thinking they want to be your equal, until they become the boss.

Someone needs to be the boss and in my life the tone is set early as to who that is.

I believe in God and he sees men as the leaders of the family, and I agree. This doesn't mean they aren't our equals as people. A woman should not control a man and a man shouldn't dominate a woman. There is a difference.

Dear admins, please close this thread.

It seems many members here like to talk about their moral ideas, and they think they know what others do.

I tried to ask a simple question. It could have been an interesting thread if people would actually contribute to the original question.

There is something wrong with men who think they stick up for women's rights, when in reality they don't accept the choices of many women.

Maybe start with accepting that not everybody is like you and thinks like you. And the fact that they don't think like you does not make them inferior.

The world contains of other people than those who travelled to Thailand  and have for long been exposed to the the p4p scene here. I have to admit I have changed my opinion on what's going on, but still have to say my respect lays with the girls who's willing entertain mostly elderly men.

A n elderly man who hooking up with a girl who could be his daughter or grad child, will never gain my respect.

I'm fully aware that not everyone thinks like I do. I repeat. I respect women. Some don't. I'm a moral thinker and some aren't. I didn't say all or who. An inferior person is a narcissist that intentionally targets people, especially women, to use and toss aside. And yes, women can also be narcissists as I was married to one.

But then, maybe such men just want to have fun and don't care if you respect them.

So how about a guy who agrees to spend an hour with a woman and he pays her as much for that hour as she would make in a week in an ordinary job? Is that narcistic? Or is it maybe a good deal between two adults?

Maybe you should go from time to time with those "victims" and observe how they behave. Likely you have a very wrong perception of reality because you never tried reality - because someone who also never tried it told you all the details which he also didn't know.
