Honda HRJ-216

Featured Replies

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this. I'm in need of supplier of Honda lawnmower parts for a HRJ-216. The part I'm after is a 'Handle' and I live in Buriram.

Just in general, try to find the part number online and then search for that part number.

Recently I needed a part for my KTM motorcycle. It was not available at any KTM dealer in Thailand. I found it on Shopee, with a decent price, and I had it original packed in my mailbox a few days later.

Maybe just try something like that.

Good idea. Sometimes eBay will turn something up as well.

Normally I try Lazada and Shopee first because they have lots of local shops. I was surprised to get a part from them within 2 or 3 days which the official dealer did not have in stock.

No help to you.....but just bought one.....beast of a machine.

What happened to the handle?

You probably don't really want to know.

Sweat from my hands caused it to degrade. My machine is still working but the push handle could become inoperable anytime, it's that brittle.

Try Lazada and if not shopee.

Bought handles and blades for Bosch mower from shopee.

eBay also has but sometimes the prices are crazy high .

I've spent ages looking on the internet but the only Honda dealership I can find is in BKK and I don't fancy the roundabout trip. I'll maybe have to get my missus to give them a phone call. Thanks to all who replied.

Talk to Bob at Ruangsangthai  in Buriram. That is where I bought mine.

Lazada or Shopee. Have had both Honda and Briggs and Stratton parts from them. My B and S Raptor mower is brilliant, it's the second B and S one I've owned here and will stick to them in future. They're also a lot cheaper than other brands.

Bob is no longer thyere but they do sell Honda mowers. There is another dealer in Ta Kli. I have the same model and usually find parts in AliExpress.

I recently found parts for my mower, my tiller, and my string trimmer all on lazada. I could have bought all the parts for the trimmer minus the engine for a fraction of what I paid for it at Global House.

It turns out that many 'brands' of such things are actually just assembled from such parts and then sold as a new brand.

I recently paid 3000thb for the worm gear transmission fir the tiller plus 1000thb for labor.

A day layer I found three lazada stores that sold EXACTLY the same part, simple bolt-on, for 500-700thb. I felt like a fool.  The giveaway was when the shop delivered the repaired machine with an extra set of blades. All three replacement stores provided the transmission with extra blades. So the shop made an extra 3000 with ease.

I bet if you're persistent youll find what you need on lazada or shopee.

I think the problem is sometimes when we can't really check if the parts are original or parts which look like the original and maybe even in a bag and box like the original, but they are lower quality.

Oh, you are right. I have no illusions about that. All the parts I'm talking about are from China and absolutely are not original in any other sense of the word. I just wanted folks to know they can buy replacement parts for the Chinese junk we are forced to buy here and typically lasts for months at most.
