Have you seen much evidence of that yet......? I have been expecting it, but it doesn't seem to be happening yet. Pattaya seems to support many businesses that on the surface appear to be doing very little. -

Many moons ago I was a gambler. I gambled all over. USA : Canada : UK : Netherlands : Singapore: Australia. I lose big, and won big as well. I was not a weekend or cruise ship gambler, I went all out. But one think I did, was always gambled where the returns are high. I would advise same. Why gamble in a country where the money is just 34 Baht to $1 or even less Euro, unless you really not a gambler and just having fun. Also if you win big, I mean big, you cannot get the money out. Seems stupid to me. -

The procedure with the Transfer Stamp to New Passport Form https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CEJpSs5wEwrKM-kEOIkNV6kfKiuWu3nO/view?usp=drive_link which I suggested to the OP, shdmn, ins not about transferring a visa from the old to the new passport. It is about linking the new passport with the old passport, and for this purpose immigration puts a stamp into the new passport. Depending on the situation, some stamps relating to the current permission to stay are copied to the new passport. -

Man Killed in Factory Shooting Over Unpaid Debt Picture courtesy of Khaosod. A dispute over a small loan turned deadly when a man was shot and killed at a factory in Bang Phli district, Samut Prakan. The suspect, who had accompanied a friend to collect a debt of just over 1,000 baht, claimed he acted in self-defence after being attacked.
