How much is the final price for a normal teeth extraction? I went to different clinic and saw prices from 500 to 1500 THB. But are these the final prices? Or should I expect much more expensive? Thanks 👍

The price is the price.  They pull the tooth out that is it.

I had an upper molar extraction undertaken in Chiang Mai end of November at private clinic. The tooth had split in half and couldn't be repaired.

X-ray, injection, extraction, dressings and pain meds. Came to 1,000 baht all in.

Thanks for share it. Appreciate it.

Also quoted 1000 for an extraction, Hua Hin, private office.  That would be the final cost, all in.

For information purposes only, I paid 8000 baht to get an emergency complex extraction done at Bumrungrad.

I went to some small clinics before I ended up there, but none of them had a qualified doctor on duty and I wasn't going to wait a day or two with that pain.  Bumrungrad got me in on the spot.  And I was happy to pay.

If you have time to plan, great.  I didn't.

Too much....and where is "st Marys"?

In Korat

Private Hospital

All extractions are not equal. AN impacted tooth will obviously cost more to remove

Paid 4x for a wisdom tooth, took 40 mins to get it out

I paid less than 1400 baht to remove one of mine, in Bang Saen. That included the X-ray and everything else. It also took a while as the root was curved.

Your price seems high.

Mine had a very curved root and was also badly damaged by acidity. Private clinic. Maxillofacial surgeon. 2.5k for a normal tooth and 4k for a wisdom tooth is too high.

Have experienced the same although not in Thailand. The dentist couldn't cope and asked his father (family practice) to take over. I felt much downward pressure. The faces of the original dentist and dental nurse said it all. A lot of blood. They said only one stitch inserted though. Caused considerable swelling of my jaw.

It was a standard extraction and not complicated. I like the hospital there, seems ok and decent priced.

It all dependes what clinic/hospital you choose to use, and for what reasons you choose the place. Even better my female dr have small hands, speaks english and that helps alot, as well they seems to be very careful when it comes to the hygiene there.

4k is typical price for removal of fully erupted wisdom tooth in a Bangkok clinic, and impacted will be more.

Thanks goodness that I didn't go to Bangkok then. Sounds like a rip to me.

8k at Bumrungrad.....nice work if you can get it 😊

Though I should perhaps add that my practitioner is exceptional.

As I understand your post, you did not have  a wisdom tooth extracted.  Even in the provinces, this will cost much more than an ordinary tooth, especially if impacted.

Type of anesthesia also needs to be considered, extraction of an impacted wisdom tooth is often done under IV sedation.

I still have it in my freezer. 😊

Like i said earlier but was deleted for a reason who knows. My dentist tells you how much it will cost, 500 for extraction, 700 for surgical extraction, a good dentist won't pad the bill after
