Before April 2016 (basic state pension) you could opt to be paid weekly. Seems possible that fortnightly may have been an option too.

New state pension is paid 4-weekly or 13-weekly.

I looked on the DWP web site and it mentioned the choice was weekly or 4 weekly. I applied to get it weekly as I was struggling to budget on a 4 weekly basis. Even monthly would be better, at least you know where you were instead of the stupid different day in the month. But I only got it every 2 weeks which a lot better that 4 weekly. Better off in my bank account than in the DWP's.

Isn't the registration automatic now. Unless you notify them it has changed it just rolls forward. It does for me but I live in the UK.

Looks like registration now lasts for 3 years for overseas voters.

You still have to register at your last UK address which can be problematic for those who have been away some time.

You should avoid arbitrary references to the situation in the UK, thread is based on non UK resident.

Choices on overseas application is 4 weeks or 13 weeks.

I looked at my online Personal Tax Account yesterday and, as expected, HMRC had reduced my tax code for 25/26 based on their assumption that I got the CoL increase of 4%, which I don't. I phoned them as soon as the phone lines opened, asked them to correct it and the change appeared in my PTA about 15 minutes later.

No difficulty at all - unless you call listening to endless 'helpful information', "your call is important to us" and %#@&*!& awful music a 'difficulty'.

I also fired off a complaint, via the online complaints page, to HMRC re. the constant need to correct them.
