  • Russia never wanted to gain territory. The aim was the de-militarisation of Ukraine and for NATO to stop expanding to Russia’s borders. Seems like they are successfully achieving this and more besides

So there are some people think that ukraine needs an election. My question is what do you think which country needs an election when you look at this pic:

No need to feel bad about it- was always going to happen. It's a mystery to some of us why Zelensky would send his best on an expedition that was only going to end one way.

PR, optics… who knows. What is clear is that it was doomed from the start. Now 7 months later, 20,000+ casualties and tons of ammo and weapons gone. And there are those that still supports the green goblin sending a whole generation of men to die. Russia can’t be defeated militarily. Napoleon tried, the moustached man tried, sleepy Joe tried…

Russia could absolutely be defeated militarily, but the cost would be too high.

Same can be said about America, China…

No, I don't think you could say the same thing about the US and or China, far too many variables.

I guess some Russians didn't realized there was a war going on as it never come close to their doors, now the reality hit them and that's great news, maybe some will start to question Putin the assassin, now they start to feel what the Ukrainians have been feeling for the past 3 years, I hope Ukraine does not stop there and keep the pounding into Moscow going that will generate more fear in the Ruskoffs minds maybe some will open their eyes and see Putin as he really his, a killer of innocent kids/children, civilians and anybody that dares to challenge/oppose him, Navalny and many others that disappeared without any explanation

Far as him using a mobile phone, some time ago a poster pointed out that using a mobile phone on the battlefield gives away their location and that will be used to target a drone.

You lost me with the bit about Ukraine being innocent. C'mon man, take off the Ukrainian colored glasses and see reality.

I don't care about Russia, never have, never will, I care about Ukraine the same amount. All I care about in that situation is stopping the killing, which is all for nothing. Russia IMO will keep what it has when the ceasefire starts, and Ukraine will go back to being the same corrupt country it was before. All that was achieved is making the 1% even richer.

Ukraine has been losing it's young men for 3 years and the end result will be either an unstable ceasefire in place, or Russia getting most of what it wants. It's going to take years to rebuild Ukaraine, they lost the minerals to the US ( so the US is probably the real winner ), they lost the money the Russians gave them for using the pipelines, there are thousands of widows and fatherless children, They won't get to be in NATO, and perhaps not even in the EU.

So, was it worth it, all that dying and destruction? After it's over, you get to go home, far away from Ukraine, but the Ukrainians get to live in a devastated country, that will have to deal with all the men that ran away. I don't envy them.

Wrong poster. I don't know anything about  3rd separrate assult brigade  so why would I comment on it, and I know nothing about using AI on here. That was a poster that is no longer contributing to this sub forum.

Thank you for that. There are many on this forum that tell lies about me, but when I call them out on it they never admit they were wrong.

Low level military guys who have spent most of their lives in the army can’t be expected to see the bigger picture or to appreciate the nuances of geopolitics. They have been conditioned to merely accept and follow instructions and not ask questions. They don’t realise that they are nothing more than pawns to be used.

We see many examples of this daily on AN, sheeple just repeating the propaganda that Russia plans to invade the rest of Europe after winning in Ukraine lol. They are convinced that Russian soldiers with Chines made shovels and washing machine chips will roll over the mighty EU :cheesy:
