Let's face it. He isn't all that popular. He didn't even win a majority of the vote. Harris was a weak candidate. The Republican margin in the House actually fell. If it wasn't for the fact of their over-the-top gerrymandering in North Carolina, Florida, Texas, and Ohio, the Democrats would have a majority there.

So it really doesn't apply. Unless you wan to organize them into 2 groups. Those who voted for Trump and those who didn't. In that case, it's not the Trump voters who turn out to be in the majority. Now if majority meant the greatest number, which is the superlative form of great, then you would have a point. But it didn't, so you don't.
