SOP for law enforcement.

Got picked up for trafficking drugs?  We have bigger illegal alien fish to fry.  Go have a chat with Lt. Doge from the persecuter's office, and maybe you two can work out a deal.  Say, you're not allergic to wire, are you?

Not the same thing at all. As Sassoon pointed out, the courts have already ruled against this kind of behavior on the part of the government. This is not a deal between law enforcement and a private individual. The judiciary is now involved.

How many Law Firm hiring decisions have you participated in? How long have you participated in the local political process in a major US city as it intertwines with national politics and major law firm partnerships?

You never have.  Accordingly, your comment is, as usual, ignorant babbling fueled by your extreme anti-Americanism, irrational deranged Trump hate and ego needs requiring flames.

It's akin to when people work for fda etc  then all of a sudden they go work for a certain company that benefited from decisions made during the new employees time at said got office.

I could probably dig up dozens of instances where people shifted from one side to the other. At times even shifting back again.

It's common.

They'll all get gigs as legal consultants bashing Trump on leftist media outfits

And if any of them women, LGBT or black the law schools will snap them up.

With new money from Qatar flooding into CNN they'll need to do a bit of hiring to keep it "balanced" wink wink nudge nudge

The judge in the Adams case (Dale Ho) is not obligated to dismiss the charges against Mayor Adams even at the prosecution's request as the indictment was the product of a Federal grand jury

How would he move the case forward?

For all we actually know of his origins, he could be a mixed-race Australian of indeterminate gender.

More nonsense. These people didn't quit to get a better job. There's absolutely no indication that they were looking for one. The motivations here are clear.

So says you. I can speculate without proof all I want.

And good job of overlooking the bigger point I was making. Such a narrow minded viewpoint.

Okay hardly any great loss. Hope they have success in their new careers.

Apparently, you believe that the Federal Government is rife with people even more qualified than Hagan Scotten:

Hagen Scotten, who sent a blistering resignation letter to Bove,  was valedictorian at Harvard Law school. He was a troop commander in the special forces in Iraq where he earned 2 bronze stars.

He also clerked for Brett Kavanaugh and John Roberts.
