Are there any good alternatives to Gillette available in Thailand?

Been using Fusion for ages, but moving to Thailand soon and want to avoid murican products as much as possible from now on.

Unfortunately, the Gillette Fusion razor is the greatest technological achievement in the history of shaving and there is no substitute.

There will be people who tell you there is a better alternative or who fetishize old fashioned razors and the rituals surrounding them but they are wrong, wrong, wrong.

Of this, I am surer than anything else in this crazy damn world!

Thank you for your reply... I might be forced to stick to it then 😏

Gillette will keep making "New And Improved" razors with expensive price tags to cater to those with tons of disposable income the toss in the trash.

They'll never improve on this.

I wouldn't believe any of his nonsense. There are many choices available offering cleaner shaves for a fraction of the price. Haven't used Gillette or their rip off products for years.

Any suggestions? What are you using yourself?

why not try an electric shaver?

maybe not as close shave, but good enough and less hassle. no shaving cream needed.

Haven't used one since I was a teenager, but I remember they were not a good fit for me. I like a close shave.

Yes but that can cut you to shreds ...a  safety razor is better IMHO

agree that Gillette are overpriced (especially in Thailand) but they do the job well  I tried many other brands but keep returning to Gillette...much less razor burn and irritation with them and can make  one blade last a couple of months @ 1  x per week shave...still expensive but ......

I buy BIC disposable razors, a French company.

I base my purchases on whether they are value for money, not their origin.

Having said that, the USA does not seem to produce quality goods and services any more, since bean counters took over.

An exception is military equipment, which I don't need.

The BIC replaceable blade razor does the job for me, at about 1/3 the overprice of Gillette.

Total cr4p IMO.........you must have a softer skin...🙂

What has the skin got to do with it. Razors remove hair, not skin.
