DOGE Quietly Deletes the 5 Biggest Spending Cuts It Celebrated Last Week

Last week, Elon Musk’s government cost-slashing initiative, dubbed the Department of Government Efficiency, posted an online “wall of receipts,” celebrating how much it had saved by canceling federal contracts.
Now the organization, which is also known as the U.S. DOGE Service, has deleted all of the five biggest “savings” on that original list, after The New York Times and other media outlets pointed out they were riddled with errors.
The last of the original top five disappeared from the site in the early hours of Tuesday, even as the group claimed in its latest update that its savings to date had increased to $65 billion.

Claiming cost savings which later turn out to be total BS has been around ever since management consultants were born.

Three judges have consecutively issued rulings against Trump on major executive actions, CNN reported Tuesday.

1. US District Judge Amir Ali's new ruling rejected Rubio's argument their suspension was legitimate and again demanded the payments move forward for foreign aid through USAID.

2. U.S. District Judge Loren AliKhan issued a preliminary injunction against the Trump administration's pause on federal funding and grants, suspending the freeze indefinitely.

To quote Alikhan “Defendants either wanted to pause up to $3 trillion in federal spending practically overnight, or they expected each federal agency to review every single one of its grants, loans, and funds for compliance in less than twenty-four hours. The breadth of that command is almost unfathomable.”

3. U.S. District Judge Jamal Whitehead, blocked Trump's moves to freeze refugee resettlement in the United States, stating Trump's “actions amount to an effective nullification of congressional will in establishing the nation’s refugee admissions program''.

Wait 12 months and see.

What was truly impressive about this was the way Musk & Co. openly acknowledged their errors and promised in the future to be more transparent and...oh wait a minute...
