The situation with the Donbass is a bit more complex. The locals WANT to be part of Russia. And besides, Russia is winning the war, why should it give up anything? Ukraine is getting decimated, it is in UKRAINE's interest to end this war. But this lunatic Zelensky is blinded by his vanity and ego, and is prepared to let women and children and soldierse die to continue this war. For what? Even he knows he won't get the lands back that Russia has taken. Not like a burglar, but like a warrior.

 

Trump is not a "Quisling", if you remember Quisling he was a national of the nation that was invaded. Trump is the leader of the free world and the most powerful backer of Ukraine, however, he can see clearly that this war is lost for Ukraine and needs to be ended. He is a wise and humane leader, not an egomaniac and vain fool like Zelensky.
