How are you so sure he is giving ordinary people false hope? I think the USA has had an icredible run the last decade while most the world struggled. Should he be telling people that the USA ( most the world) is in a debt spiral and we might not be able to kick the can down the road for much longer?  Just my opinion and I realise I could be wrong but your absolute knowledge is silly.
