Australian Aged Pension
"If you own a home in Australia and you are away from it for more than 12 months or leave it permanently, it will be treated as an asset." "If you rent out your home in Australia or buy a home in another country, your payment may be affected." Doesn't look good, Olmate. Buy a home (condo in Thailand) in another country, your payment may be affected. Surely Albo can change this. -

Anyone recommend a decent, no-bs clinic in Sukhumvit/Asoke area?
Turned my left ankle/foot 10 days ago, all my weight went onto it. Can walk now but it's painful after a while and the the ankle is still swollen and has pain. It might just be a case of healing with time but I'd like to have it checked over. Currently using Volteren on it and just trying to rest it as much as possible but easier said than done. Looking for any clinic recommendations pls. Cheers -

Starmer Urges Zelensky to Reconcile with Trump, but Tensions Remain High
What an absolute lot of old tosh. This is, never was and given the current political climate won't be in the foreseeable future, any prospect of a US-UK free-trade deal being put on the table. Trump offered warm words about a post-Brexit free-trade arrangement first time round and nothing happened. Given that the US is becoming increasingly protectionist, the chances of a substantial deal this time round is slim. Starmer was attempting a damage limitation exercise in Washington i.e. trying to avoid US tariffs being imposed on the UK. Time will tell, but to that end he might be successful. Wrt the EU, Starmer - and to be fair, Sunak before him - are merely trying to resume normal relations and repair the damage done to our relationship with our closest trading partner following the catastrophic confrontational agenda pursued by the buffoon, Johnson. It is ridiculous to suggest that any UK PM - whatever their political persuasion - actually hates Britain. -

Skype to be shutdown in May
I only ever use my home wifi with it, or use my Thai phone's hotspot when I am out. I generally do not carry it.
