Had the same issue yesterday, but received an instant email to reset password.

I tried to reset to existing password but was informed the passwords must now consist of 8 characters, including a capital letter, a number and a symbol.

Reset password, submitted report and now awaiting response.

If your not receiving an email reply, double check your are entering your correct email address > typo error.
Other than that you will have to report in person, ask Immigration to confirm your email addy and reset your password.

Thank you Liquorice and glad it worked for you but I guess I will be heading to the office tomorrow.

The "system" is someone at the local office logging in and approving or rejecting the submission you made.

  • If they didn't reset your due 90 day report when obtaining your extension stamp, then just proceed with the given date.

  • The online system pumps out a reminder 2 weeks before the 90 days are up from your last report.  Leaving the country doesn't get fed back to it so just ignore the email.

I got my renewal notice on schedule on the 15th, had to reset password to log on.

Submitted on 16th at 9am, approval at 11:30.

Recent reports indicate online reporting will not work for you again until you leave Thailand and return.  Why? No one knows.

From where did you get those 'recent reports?'

Usually, you must go in-person for the first report after returning to Thailand. After that it is plain sailing.

I did Tuesday morning and got reply that afternoon.

there have been people reporting here that they were able to online report after returning from abroad

Just here to report that Chaeng Wattana (Bangkok) continues to not allow reporting online for the first 90 days report after returning from abroad.

Ive just tried to do my first 90 day report online. First i created an account, then logged in and filled the details asked for. I then hit submit and it said success, but all i received via email was a tm47 form with the details i submitted printed on?.

Is that it?, or do i now have to use the form to complete the 90 day report , there was no other paperwork telling me when my next report was due etc?

update!!!, recieved a mail sayng application rejected because NO ADDRESS INFORMATION ON THE SYSTEM Unapproved because the address not match on the system

The first email is always just a receipt for your submission. It is then followed by approval or as in your case rejection.

Correct. Sorry. My point was why was it rejected, lived at same address for 10 years and never missed a 90 day report at the office. Does the way the address is put in affect it?

The address must exactly match your TM30.

Yes. Just something as small as which line you input the address number or room number can throw off getting an APPROVED response.

Anyway, if you are still within the 'window' to submit online (15-to-7 days before the due date; though some locales apparently still allow online submission up to the due date) no harm in giving it a second try, and even a third before the due date, if need be.

I've gotten an APPROVED on a third try which was submitted even a couple days AFTER the due date; yes that happened.

That was at a time when I'd do the report online maybe 3-4 days before it was due--during the time you could do it online up to the due date--thinking I wanted to get close to 'full value' of the 90 days.

Not really applicable right now to the OP's situation, but if he does get an APPROVED on a second or third try then the following should be beneficial to him, and anyone else doing their '90-day reports' online. Best MO is think of it as a '75 day report'. Submit it two weeks ahead of the due date. Seems to make it run smooth, and gives you an opportunity to re-submit again (and again if need be) to get an APPROVED.

the rules are clear to most people

Are they? Can you or anyone else confirm whether 90 day reports are allowed to be submitted online after entering the country? We've got reports saying opposite things in recent months.

Even on "little" things like the required dates differ from office to office - Bangkok immigration's calendar shows online can be submitted 15 days before - i.e. if your due date is the 17th, you can submit on the 2nd, while other offices make the cutoff 14 days before the deadline (apparently as they count the due date as being one of the days).

The dates are even more important for things like mail submissions which must be submitted 15 days before - not within 15 days nor more than 15 days. The deadline is 90 days since the last submission, or 89 days since arrival to Thailand (since they count the day of arrival as already being 1 day).

And the TM 47 instructions ( https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=1648 ) still say to provide a "Copy of the departure Immigration Form 6 (TM.6), front and back. See example of Immigration Form 6." despite that there hasn't been TM6 like that officially for multiple years now, and that Thailand wasn't actually distributing TM6s for years before that.

Etc.

In case it helps others, I reviewed the last 3 or 4 months of posts in this thread, and I found 1 report of online working upon re-entry with the Phuket office, arrived in October: https://aseannow.com/topic/1353374-thai-immigration-online-90-day-reporting-system-2025/page/8/#findComment-20313297

And 1 report of online not working after re-entry with the Bangkok office, arrived in December: https://aseannow.com/topic/1353374-thai-immigration-online-90-day-reporting-system-2025/page/9/#findComment-20394913

Yes, it's such a hassle spending 2 minutes every 90 days doing the online report, and then, the horror, a couple of hours once a year renewing the visa. It's insufferable!

  1. That's only if you never travel outside the country, and then each time you'll need a number of hours to either visit the regional immigration office (plus hopefully take the time to make an appointment), or to get copies of all of the needed documents, fill out the form and multiple envelopes, sign all the copies, visit a post office - possibly not even the local post office if the exact-15-day requirement doesn't fall on a day the post office is open, etc - and of course set up reminders to submit everything, reminders to check that your application was approved, etc. - this isn't something you can just set and not pay attention until 90 days later.

  2. And for renewing a visa, some (many? all?) visa types can't make an appointment, so on top of the hours traveling to/from the regional immigration office, getting the annual documents if needed from your bank, filling out the multiple forms, getting copies of and signing all required documents, getting a current photo taken, you still have hours more waiting in a queue at immigration - and there's a decent chance there will also be another hour delay while the immigration office closes for lunch, etc - these things take up much of a day to get done from start to finish.

And immigration is open only during limited business hours, so if you're working you'll likely also need to take time (a day?) off from work to do each visa renewal and maybe each 90 day notification if you've left the country.

Or for another example posted today of how it is not so easy: https://aseannow.com/topic/1388553-samut-prakan-immigration-youd-better-stay-in-bangkok/

Do you need to provide copies of all passport pages, including blank ones? Do you need a copy of the owner's ID? Their phone number? Do you need not just your most recent TM30, but the previous one as well? etc.

Highly unlikely that you have no TM30.

Trying to do an online report... 1st time for a new (Sep 2025) passport ... did an in-person report at same time as my extension renewal in Dec. The rejection email said:

Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected.

Others (Please specify)Contact immigration; you have not registered for accommodation (TM30). (Change PASSORT)

Will I need to do a new TM30 despite still living in our (in wife's name) house? I also haven't left Thailand since arriving Sep. 2020.

I live an easy 10 minute drive from CM Imm... so I went in person to do the TM47. I asked the Thai Imm. officer at the window if I needed to do anything about my TM30 because of my new passport. He didn't give an answer so I just walked into the TM30 office a few steps away and enquired from the staff. They said they needed to update the TM30 records and gave me new receipt.

Only as a information:

When you come back from outside the country, you can send the 90 day ..

also by mail.

And if you are to lazzy to make the 90 day report it will cost you, when you make your next extension 2 k Bath.

The way to avoid the 2,000 baht fine is to arrive back within 90 days of an extension end date. If you time your travels right, you can skip 90 day reports with no consequence.

Realy, nobody did ask me in more then 25 years. And if I extend my visa i show copies of my wifes housbook and passport.
