Banner on Screen

Featured Replies

Please reconsider your decision to put a banner in the bottom third of the screen.  Thanks.

I thought it was just me and raised this in the forum support!

It is pointless and annoying!

Please remove it!

PS;  Just realised that your post is also in the forum support desk!

Which banner?   I see no banner.

What banner?

This one which blocks the bottom third of the screen.

It has only appeared since mid afternoon and makes it unasable on small screens.

I am logging off on my tablet until it is fixed and will try my big screen but not hopeful as it is just as bad on my laptop.

When making these points, please take a moment to state mobile.Pc and what browser / sytem you are using please. Ideally a screenshot is very helpful.

Below is a new screen shot using opera.  It is the same on Edge on two different computers whether logged in or not on both.  Both computers using win11.

Have also tried Opera with and without VPN and edge without adblockers.  All the same.

@rough diamond That menu bar appears if you use the 'magnifier' function on Win 11.

Press Ctrl+ until it appears. Press Ctrl- until it disappears again. I've never actually used it.

Thanks but that was not the issue.

It now appears to have been fixed by AN support.

You sound brave Lou.

You won't now as the problem seems to have been resolved, certainly on my systems.

Indeed I am Brave, and on this forum one has to be because of all the brickbats.

I didn't before.

Being brave is the only way to post.

Suit yourself, but I can still bring it up whenever I want to. And I've even tested it to see if it works. It does!

Personally, I prefer not have any fixed stuff on my screen, but maybe that is just me.  So the up arrow on the left and the bar at the bottom (now) are just annoying distractions to me.  However, what do I know?
