Signing on and working is pretty normal in the UK.

Pakistanis,Poles, and a lot of other nationalities are claiming benefits whist living the high life in their own countries.

🇬🇧 She'll be right back on the dole in the UK for sure ....

For many single mothers being on the dole would be the only option that makes sense. It can cost up to £16,000 per annum to keep a kid full time in a nursery/pre-school, almost as much as they're likely to earn.

There's many expats here who worked their whole life and receive nothing like that amount.

I guess a part of that money would be for her kids. How many does she have, 3 or 4?

Btw. She has 13400 followers on tiktok, that does not make her a "tiktok star".

What a low life slag! She doesn't recognise her older children unless it's her birthday and she ponces cash from the father's she states she's had a 'designer vagina' to eradicate any signs of child birth! Her child is named Cairo i wonder if that where he was conceived or the father is Egyptian?

I do feel for the kids because at some stage in their lives they are going to find out about her. I sincerely hope she gets kicked out and the UK investigate her for potential fraud.

Hope Thailand keeps this fraud artist in jail 10 years as she deserves it.

If she's only up for visa overstay she's only likely to do a few months in clink before being deported.

Many Brits i meet who live in Thailand, are on some sort of benefits from the generous UK, more so after Covid. Absolute parasites. Then they pontificate on muslims..

Awful.

OK, "absolute parasites." I do not agree with people on benefits living abroad then claiming from the UK government, but what about UK MP's? They are even bigger parasites, some have other jobs ie Lawyers and Company Directors etc, while drawing their full MP's salary, and what about the ones claiming second mortgages for other homes at the UK taxpayers expense?

There are many Brits in Pattaya when i venture to those areas, and regulars. Most who sit their long term, are on some form of benefits back in the UK, some setting up accounts in Phillppines - these people look thick as anything but when it comes to fiddling the system suddenly turn into Steve Jobs.

They're all racist too, and blame all the issues on immigrants, meanwhile they themselves are fleecing their own country.

"meanwhile they themselves are fleecing their own country."

Can you please give an example of this, I mean what benefits are they claiming?

I think you have to have kids to be able to fully 'use' the system. Having none I get the bare minimum, or nothing.

Since when did they resurrect Michael Jackson? Has he been hiding in Pattaya? I guess he got caught doing his thing here in Thailand and they finally nabbed him.  Maybe he couldn't resist the lure of Tik Tok LOL!!

It's a shame Thailand attracts so many low life's. It seems to be a haven for online gambling, drug and human traffickers and scam call centers.

Many such people would probably be weeded out if they had to get a visa before travelling.

Yea, but no more quick money. I'm not sure anyone in charge is really thinking even 5 years ahead. Quick money.. seems to be the mindset of a lot of the locals. Quick money grab with no thoughts long term. Many of the latest developments make Thailand less and less attractive to me for long stay living. I pine for even 2012-2018.. those were good years for me there. Now it's not fun anymore. Too crowded with tourists in the places where I lived.

Thailand lies within 4 or 5 hours flying for 3+ billion people. At some point the sheer weight of numbers means that they're going to have to start restricting the number of arrivals, weeding out undesirables would be a good start.

For me the late 90's early 2.000's were great, no worries about visa overstay, or drinking hours.

I hope you are right. It would certainly be good to make it a lot harder for people with less than ethical means of support to enter and take root.

There must be thousands claiming the annual state pension upgrade and free NHS access  by having a fake residency address in UK. Well things are about yo change for them as the UK govt clamps down on the saud benefit fraudsters.

How ? Does no one check in the UK ?  One arm of Government knows you left the country, via your passport.   Here in Australia they stop it.

Also I believe that in Oz you have to be resident there for the 2 years before pension age?

The problem is she has a history of (and im being generous) exagerating claims. Can anyone believe this?

Noticed this thread is very quiet with Brits on this forum ,who would usually be all over it. Most likely hoping this story gets no traction of foreigners sitting abroad claiming benefits - COS THERE IS ALOT OF THEM DOING THIS.

Yep, I'm living here and claiming the state pension benefit!

Fair point about the real fraudsters but if you are paying your taxes in the UK why shouldn't you be entitled to NHS treatment and pension increases?  With the upcoming changes to non-dom status, this will get even more complicated.

Story doesn't make sense.

Why does Thailand care about someone living in the country with mental health benefits, and spending that into the economy, no, this would only make sense under the following reasons.

1) UK Government have asked for aid in returning her to the UK, extradition in this case wouldn't be something that would likely pass muster in the Thai judicial system, so the Thai government (who can't willy nilly revoke - would go through judicial appeals) merely waited it out.

2) She forgot to renew her visa or was made aware she wouldn't be able to (in neighboring country) one of the so -called bad guys - thus she thought she'd remain in Thailand, as there must be a reason it wouldn't be renewed, logically she should have gone to a neighboring country but didn't, thus when she didn't renew they arrested her for having a expired visa / permit to remain.

Outcome -> observe what happens when she gets shipped back to blighty.
