Retirement Visa

Featured Replies

I am in Phuket, and there is a company in BKK (Thai visa center) that says they can renew my visa by mail. I have been shopping around, and they are the cheapest, but I have also heard a few times that you have to renew in person. Does anyone know the real answer.

Thanks in advance for any helpful responses

What type of visa do you have?

Non O, Non O-A, etc ?

Visas are not renewed.

Edit: seems OP is on annual extensions from a Non O

Scam in all likelihood.

And never mail your passport and/or money to someone you don't know.

Thai Visa Centre offers services throughout all of Thailand, but unless you're in Bangkok you will have to mail your passport to them in order to get your visa/extension since that's where their operation is. They're a legit agent, you should able to find reviews online.

Though you wrote "Thai Visa Center" which I don't know about. I only know about "Thai Visa Centre." so you might want to double check the spelling of the agency name to see if it's the known one or not.

Maybe, but I'd have "in person" contacts prior to relying on mail. There have been stories here about people having difficulties getting their passports back.

I'm sure that the OP has checked out agents in Phuket.

Discussed in the (oldish) attached thread.

Yes we accept cases by secure post / signature on delivery.

All payments made to us are treated as refundable deposits, and we provide a document stating this after payment. We've always issued prompt refunds whenever a client chose to cancel or when, for any reason, we were unable to complete the task.

We submit cases immediately after taking them on and never delay or hold onto them. While some agents may operate differently, our approach ensures a consistently fast turnaround.

As a general rule, it's wise to avoid sending money or documents to any business without verifying their physical office, business domain, or reputation.

That said, our team has a proven track record and can be trusted to handle these matters with transparency and reliability.
