Interesting results so far.

Can we ask the same question in the USA?

Or in Quebec or Newfoundland

  • If war breaks out between what countries? US & Canada? Not ever going to ever happen. Easy with the wild imaginary stuff, it’s silly.

  • Dumbest question ever.

  • I voted I will support Canada. If I was a Russian, I would support Ukraine. If I was a German in WW2, I would have supported the Allies. Right is right, wrong is wrong, regardless of yo

Yes the USA as leader of the free world is over.

Now the USA isn't even leader of the autocratic world.

The USA has now "brexited" away from the entire world.

Sure the USA can produce a lot of things efficiently but nowhere near everything.

It's tragic but I guess we deserve it.

Champagne is popping in Moscow and especially Beijing.

Canada wouldn't last 30 minutes if there was a military conflict.

How did the US get on in Iraq in 2003, population about 27 million? Or Vietnam, population in 1968 about 40 million. You might win a war, but you wouldn't win a peace.

There are about 1.2 million US troops in the Continental US, facing about 100,000. If the poll on this forum is to be believed, 43% of the US miitary would switch sides in the event of hostilities (in the assumption that it is the US that is the hostile country).  An attacking enemy, to be successful, is generally assumed to need a 3-4x numerical advantage.

The US military has struggled against non-peer militaries (suffering losses against Panama and Greneda, heavy losses in Vietnam/Iraq/Afghanistan.

I suspect if your leader chose to declare ware on essentially kith and kin, then the effective civil war would lead to sharp division within the US, leading to portions attempting to secede, leading to life imitating art.

Of the poll is a nonsense. The notion is ridiculous, Your wetdream is ridiculous.

Delusional,

It took you guys 20 years and trillions of dollars to lose to some third world tribesmen in Afghanistan.

I voted US citizen that would support Canada. Because i am a liberal and a traitor and a downright piece of garbage.

Well you are a trump supporter soooo parts of your post is correct.personally I don’t think our military would attack Canada I think it would be refused as an illegal order.

And think that the Nuremberg principles exist just  for decorative purposes?

Added to that she told me she was a girl too LOL

too funny

I have another question.

Now that Trump has opened the door to Canada, will some Canadian provinces voluntarily separate from Canada and join the US?

Because there are rumblings that some provinces do not like Carney if he wins the election.

The rumblings are from a very small, very vocal bunch that gets picked up by faux news to push their narrative.

There is no mechanism for any province or territory to seperate, ask Quebec.

I'm from Alberta which is always being presented as being in the separatist lane.

It's not.

our premier is a separatist and trump supporter much to my shame, and there has always been a small mostly rural group of maple magas that get more attention than they should in our now constant 24/7 news cycle.

I wish she would shut up, or even better call an election
