instructionsfor doing 90 day online

The Pattaya City Expats Club has the following on their website which has a link and instructions for doing the report - https://pcec.club/online-90-day/

Although the time frame when doing the report in person is 15 days in advance or up to 7 days after the due date, this is not the case with online reporting which can be done 15 days in advance but not after the due date.

The online system will reject the application under the following conditions. Submitting the report:

For the first time after entering or reentering Thailand
More than 15 days before the due date.
       After the due date.
After leaving & returning to Thailand – upon reentering, the 90 day period restarts

It also notes that it may not always work even when it should:

We continue to receive conflicting reports about successfully filing the TM.47 online. For unknown reasons, the online system may accept the first report (and even subsequent reports) but then reject a report although it contains correct information and is being timely filed.  In such cases, the message will usually  tell you to visit your Immigration Office immediately.  The reports we have received is that inquiry with the Immigration Officer when making the report in person, they will not know the reason.

I don't think this online reporting is working. I did an application a week ago. I've been logging in and checking several times a day, and it just sits there as pending. I looks like it's not even mo

Logging in, I can see the TM47 that I've lodged. It's still saying "pending", but I do have an email with the subject; [TM.47] (PASSPORT NO : XXXXXXXXX) FORM FOR ALIEN TO NOTIFY OF STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS RECEIVED, and in the body it says; "We have received your information successfully, you can find your information below.". There's a reference number and some other info included and an attachment with the completed TM47.

Is this maybe all I need to do? It reads very much like an acknowledgement of me having reported.

That is acknowledging receipt of your submission only and not (yet) approval/rejection.

You'll get another email when it's approved or rejected.  You can also check status on the system where another pdf will appear showing the approval with the officer's details etc and status changes as shown.

Unfortunately, waiting is not an option. There's a window within which the report must be made. It seems there's nothing more that I can do online, and I will now need to go and report in person.

What window are you referring to?  Bangkok appears to be max 15, min 7 days before due whereas others are max 15 until due date.  In person you can be up to 7 days late.

When is your due date? And when did you submit the report that the system shows is PENDING?

And to clarify, for in-person reporting there is a 'grace period' of up to 7 days AFTER the due date, during which time you can submit it without being fined.

I beg to differ.  I just learned this from your post and tried it for myself - marvellous!

Labelling of the button or on-screen instructions would be helpful but, as Thai IT goes, the function is good and helpful.

Thanks!

I've had to go to immigration and report in person today.

After over a week, the online finally came back, but as rejected. No explanation as to why. No way to appeal or ask what they need; just "Nope. We're not doing it". Exactly the same information was used when reporting in person where it was accepted.

All in all, looks like online reporting is broken.

To note, I just completed an online TM47 -- my only concern was that the prior SIM number is non-working so I had to get a new SIM/number.

No problem although I was hoping not see the 'rejection' notice.

I was informed today by my g/f (based on her conversation with an immigration officer at Jomtien Immigration office) that ONLINE 90 day reporting CANNOT be done on the notification deadline REPORT date, only 15 days prior to and not more than 7 days after deadline date. This makes no sense to me so i need to inquire here.

Can someone confirm this is the case?

Offices can vary, in my experience, its 15 days to 7 days before for online, Within last 7 days or after must be done in person.

In person (including someone as agent) window is two weeks prior to due date and one week after due date.

ONLINE: Has changed couple of times. Window is 15 days prior till 7 days prior.

MAIL: Do as soon as window is open. 15 days prior.

Note for both Mail and online option do as soon as possible. Meaning 15 days prior.

Here is guide with picture calendar examples.

The confusion is from not accepting online reporting on the reporting day, only before or after? Ever heard of such a requirement? But now, actually, I suspect my information from my g/f may be lost in translation somewhere and while online 90 day reporting is prohibited on the due date it is also prohibited 7 days prior. Got it now, maybe?

And the weblink (https://sites.google.com/view/siit-iacr/visa-information/90-day-report) showing the calendar below tells me that online reporting is acceptable ONLY 8 to 15 days before the due date.

I wouldn't trust that site. They've made the basic error of counting 15 days without counting the due date as day 1, which is how immigration work. In practice if your due date is , for example, a Thursday as in their graphic, the window opens on the Thursday 2 weeks before.

Very common at some offices. Your 90-day report submitted online is processed by a person sitting in your local immigration office. That's why there a different policies in different places. It's at the local level.
