"Through the Looking-Glass, and What Gamma Found There, in Thailand"

Dear Folks,

I love Thailand.

I have told many people back in the home country how much I love Thailand.

They, ask me:

What is Thailand REALLY like, “to live there”?

I usually explain that I am having just too much fun in Thailand, and I can’t be bothered to explain my times in Thailand. But, if they are willing, then I suggest that they read a nice little book written by C. Dodgson.

I send them this link: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/12/12-h/12-h.htm

https://www.gutenberg.org/files/12/12-h/12-h.htm

And then, I show them this image:

Everything about life in Thailand is just so….

FANTASTICAL…..really.

And, those of you who have lived in Thailand probably know what I mean:

And, my caution to my friends who plan to move to Thailand is this:

Here in Thailand, things are not what they appear, and not what they seem.

Anyway, this is what I tell my friends..

I tell them to just read the book.

Read the book, and then they will know all there is to know….

About Thailand.

Best regards,

Hope this is helpful to some…

Gamma

Note: There is no good music here, but only based on my uninformed opinion. When coming to Thailand, bring your own music, such as this one…maybe….

Because, don’t expect to find anything like WOODSTOCK in Thailand…baby….!!!

Note2:  And, by the way, please steer clear of foreigners, if you know what is good for you.

Note3: I will be surprised if, during your life in Thailand, you do not meet Tweedledum and Tweedledee, occasionally….

So what does the walrus represent? The carpender is the working class I assume trudging through live and oblivious to any thing other than the suffering while the sun is shining at night.

According to Western Folk Myth, the "carpenter" always represents Jesus Christ....

Right?

I didn't know that a carpender represent Jesus but have a very limitted knowledge of western folk myths.  My version seems more applicable to why to come to Thailand 🙂
