  • Realistically, attacking the nuclear facilities is the only solution. The Iranians will try to drag out the negotiations for months and months until they have a nuclear weapon.

  • Who says that they can't have nuclear weapons, and why?   Israel supposedly has at least 90 nuclear weapons and they have already invaded Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria and Iran within

  • Iran can’t have a nuke

I don't want any country to have nukes that can reach another country. Anyway, even if they did get nukes and developed a missile that could fly that far, do you think they would start a fight they knew they would surely lose?

Despite what some people see to think, the USA and Israel cannot be assured of any success in destroying Iran's nuclear program.  The sites are well protected and are scattered all over Iran.  And it's unrealistic to assume that Russia and China won't be dragged into the conflict.  What happens then is anyone's guess.

According to some analysts, the US now has some low yield nukes specifically designed to attack the types of targets that would have to be hit in Iran.  And Trump may well use those weapons.  A big mistake.  Once that genie is out of the bottle, what then?

In short, it might be better for the world if this war was avoided.

talk about diversion, Iran is subsidizing terrorist groups in how many countries, fighting a proxy war, kind of like what we are doing in the Ukraine. Typical leftist reply

What a shame that you still cannot or will not define the difference between a terrorist and a freedom fighter is, nor do you ex[lain who decides between a terrorist and a freedom fighter.

When you can come back with a reasonable answer, I may be bothered to respond to your post, or not.

Hes running for President against the loons of his party.

none of the above are organizations focused on building  a civil society.

These organizations were created as a result of oppression by external powers namely Israel and USA. Get your head out of the sand.

No they were not. The militias were created to overthrow incumbent governments and/or to impose Shiite religion on the local people and/or to extend Iranian control. You are  reciting the leftist liberation mantra from 20+ years ago. Not everything has to do with either Israel or the USA.

- Hezbollah wants full control of Lebanon and it's goal is to create a Shiite state.  The  fight with Israel is a side issue and they are  doing this in large part to ensure the support of Iran.

- Asaib Ahl al Haq and the Badr Organization are Shiite groups who wish to have an Shiite state.  They were also opposed to  Saadam Hussein when he ruled.

- Harakat Hezbollah al Nujaba (Movement of the Party of God’s Nobles),  Kataib Sayyad al Shuhada ( Masters of the Martyrs Brigade),  Zaynabiyoun Brigade  were all various factions aligned with Assad. They were not fighting with Israel or the USA.

- Ansar Allah (aka Houthis)  overthrew the legal government of Yemen and has installed a religious state.  They were at war with Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The fight with Israel is recent and came at the instruction of Iran.

-Fatemiyoun Division is intended to  establish Iranian influence in Afghanistan

- Saraya al Ashtar , as a  sponsored unit of Iranian Guards,    Saraya al Mukhtar are intended to overthrow the government of bahrain. they have nothing to do with Israel and the USA.

You’re forgiven for thinking like this. After all you probably get your info from news outlets. Let’s leave it at that. I don’t think your depth in these matters is adequate.

Cute.  You are not forgiven for using terrorist organizations as a means to get a rise out of people. Only a troll or a terrorist supporter would do this. You do know that some of those groups are involved in the  slave trade. Does the prospect of  buying a yazidi child for a  slave  delight you?

Well those terrorists as you rightly point out were created by USA to overthrow governments in the region. If you have doubts just look at Syria where the Isis leader was backed to overthrow Assad. The CIA gave him a suit and paid for trimming his beard. Stick your head back in the sand buddy as this is way beyond you. If you still have doubts the terrorists that brought down the twin towers were considered allies of USA ten years later. Google Jake Sullivan email to Hillary Clinton.

This used to be called sabre rattling.

Don't need a missile to deliver a nuke.

It could be on a commercial aircraft a ship the trunk of a car scary but true.

Fetterman, living proof there are psychopathic idiots elected to power on both sides the aisle in the land of the free.

And you don't think Iran could build a bomb of the size you speak of already. The bombs have been built for over 50 years now. Buy the uranium from North Korea and follow some YouTube instructions. Maybe shipping a chemical weapon would do more harm.

https://www.nationalreview.com/2015/09/radical-islam-iran-isis-apocalytpic-messiah-mahdi/

...

The first is the Islamic Republic of Iran. The second is the Islamic State, or ISIS. The leaders of the former are Shia. The latter are Sunni. Both believe that we are living in the End of Days as predicted in their ancient prophecies. Both believe that any moment now their messiah, the Mahdi, will be revealed on Earth as he establishes his global Islamic kingdom and impose sharia law. Both believe that Jesus will return not as the Savior or Son of God but as a lieutenant to the Mahdi, and that he will force non-Muslims to convert or die.

What’s more, both believe that the Mahdi will come only when the world is engulfed in chaos and carnage. They openly vow not simply to attack but to annihilate the United States and Israel. Iran and ISIS are both eager to hasten the coming of the Mahdi. Both believe that the Day of Judgment is coming soon, when they will be either rewarded for their actions or condemned to hell for eternity. And both are receiving relatively minimal international opposition. Consequently, both believe that Allah is on their side, that the wind is at their back, and that victory is both assured and imminent.
