No. That's what spending 23 hours a day on Pornhub does to the membrane. Give it a rest FFS.

Nothing wrong with my cerebral cortex, thus far.

As far as I know.

'Psychosocial factors' ? I don't think so. Just a bit of fun. If we all agreed with each other all the time life would be rather dull.

With age comes CSVD, vascular dementia, frontal lobe shrinkage, progressive cognitive impairment et al.......these contribute to mood changes, ingrained attitudes, frustration...... which, in turn, can have a tendency to promote irrational responses.

We know there must be something wrong with it but how would you know?

Correct.

I would NOT know.

This is why I depend upon members such as you to keep me informed.

Is AI now what young dudes use to make us oldies look bad, throw a few words into ChatGPT, then release a manuscript to justify their existence.

But is there anything wrong with what is being said. It is nicely structured and pertinent and could be summarised as the "wobbly shrinking dick syndrome in the aging man".

Try it if you can...😂

Sounds like someone had AI spew four thousand words psychoanalyzing what the rest of us just call being a grumpy old git with WiFi. Apparently getting cranky online is not just bad manners, it is now a full-blown medical condition according to people with too much free time. Who knew all it took to explain a few angry posts was a PhD thesis and absolutely no sense of humour. Imagine writing an entire essay to diagnose what could have been solved with a cuppa and a nap. Turns out it is not just arthritis setting in, it is also chronic comment section rage syndrome. So basically, old blokes are arguing online because they are bored and stubborn, but thanks for making it sound like a groundbreaking scientific discovery.

Ha, maybe thinks AN has university aspirations 😄

People still do grammar police. For real ?

I don't know about others, but I do if it is blatantly obvious.

Someone will never learn if not taught.

Maybe re check the title of the thread and see the hilarity in your response.

Need some warm milk Mr? Maybe go have a nap it's past 4pm.

Cognitive rigidity seems to be a big one here. Those that seem to be able to dance on their feet and maintain an open mind seem to have a much better chance of getting along with others. I'm often discussing politics as many of you have noticed but it really ever becomes personal for me. On the other hand I'm very frequently attacked for not paying sufficient fealty to the current circus clown.

Speaking of cognitive rigidity.

Nothing wrong with that, I don't mind getting corrected, constructively, English is my fourth language.

If there wasn't a forum rule against it I wouldn't mind either. However.

Cannot pick and chose what rules apply to you.

Isn't there a forum rule about un-necessary insults as well. Like ''Need some warm milk Mr? Maybe go have a nap it's past 4pm''

Just admit that 'would of went' should be 'would have gone'' .

I was offering advice. Will it make you feel like a big man if I admit it.

Ok.

I made a grammatical mistake. Now what ? Off to the camps with me ?

Go enjoy your retirement. I don't understand a lot of you older guys on here. If the thread wasn't so ironic this might be funny.

However forest from the trees.
