How come those with European  passports have their nationalities disclosed but those two jerks who beat up a motorcycle taxi driver don't ?

I'll help filtering out the rest, people with tattoos or thick necks or look shady gets denied entry at the airport

What have tattoos got to do with bad behavior?

We are not in the 1800's anymore.

Most of the Buddhist monks and locals here have them, do you suggest incarcerating them all also?

I have lots, been visiting Thailand for more than 20 years.

And never had any trouble with locals or the police.

You're statement is very naive, and just shows your prejudices towards certain people.

Yes, a reminder of my lovely 239 Desmo from years ago. Sadly missed.

Who beat up a motorcycle taxi driver? No one. Just hysteria. Bike rider threw the first punch.

Aggressor's name: Mustafa.

Sounds like Muslim.

Perfect example of their lack of alcohol immunity.

Hypocritic Islamic precept: Liquor Ban(at home).

It is meant to be broken abroad at someone else's expense.

The more incidents like this  I see the more I come to the conclusion that maybe they have got more prevelant since weed become legal and there is a shop on every street corner so this attracts more users of all the hard drugs to Thailand. From my knowledge of weed  it normally wouldn't make people go stupid quite the opposite ,  but these idiots may  be offerd other illicate drugs such as ice and that and a combination of alcholol is most probably the reason.

So after he promised to pay a paltry 35,000 Baht, which was probably less then the cost of damage and clean-up, he was released to do it again.

No court case, no deportation, no criminal proceedings, no fine.

The police probably thought their time was better spent on more lucrative activities.

Poor Pattaya, and I mean that sincerely. I feel for the residents who have watched the place turn into a  cesspool because of  people like this.

Another low quality EU clown...

No, Belgian. Denmark, Netherlands, Finland, the Baltic nations, Sweden, Greece are all EU members and we do not see their nationals act like this.

What they should’ve said he destroyed about7000at the most and wine bottles and the police grab I wonder The difference to make the 35,000 TIT

Take a closer look at the mess. Someone has to clean it up.  The wine went onto all the  products on the lower shelves, making it impossible to sell. . The  staff do not deserve this kind of  rude and agressive treatment. 35,000 was a bargain.

Appalling behaviour. Mustafa ? Hardly a typical European/Belgian name. He looks like somebody from the middle east. Anyway, locate him, fine him and jail him, and then deport him with a permanent ban ensuring he never returns to Thailand again.

North Africans emigres typically settle in France, Belgium and Canada. They do not assimilate well.  He may very well have been born in Belgium.

Belgium....? Sounds for me like Russian, there are Moslim areas in Russia too, like Armenia, Aserbadjan a.s.o......

Is this the quality tourism <thailand want's to welcome the world?

I agree with a check of criminal records, forbid the entry for those people!!

Armenia is predominately Christian.

Criminal records cannot be verified because Thailand is not capable of respecting the confidentiality or cyber security  requirements that attach to information sharing agreements.

He was drunk. Pickled. Tanked Up. Sauced. Inebriated.

Cannabis would put someone to sleep  before they  did  what Mr. Mustafa did.

Well this guy was likely visa exempt but what you suggest would have some benefit. A one strike and you are out approach would have prevented the repeat occurrences. In the cells to sober up, and start the deportation proceedings!

Yeah I'm thinking a deposit scheme on arrival, refund on exit for good behaviour

Why sounds like racist' comment?

Just a simple assumption/profiling; knowing it is the common name in Islamic nations.

My handling name is just for convenience.

Mustafa is an Arabic name, and this man looks like an Arab.

Garbage is piling up dramatically in at least a couple of towns in this country. Chlorine wont be enough to clean that up. Thailand...wake the "eff" up..

What a f&$#ing tool, another foreigner with a mental illness.

Every day we are reading about these unwell foreigners in Pattaya.

It must be a lovely place to live

How do these people survive managing to get up in the morning, dress themselves and find food.

Mate had one of those in 1972 while I had a BSA250 C15.  His Ducati were kept in the house, coalbunker put outside

Nostalgia not same these days.

Now 70 have a 2017 modded Ninja650 past 5+ years, all 1lt bikes gone, too heavy too twitchy and much to fast..

Unfortunately these idiots gives us foreigners a bad name.

But the Thais should also realiase  that millions of tourist come to thaiand and  0.01% are the nutters.

Mr Mustafa

yes 100% Belgian born and bread from Iran with a card short of a full deck

He deserved a month jail time for that at least & deport him then with a lifetime ban .

Had this happened in the USA, staff would probably have popped him damn quick. The floor would still have been red but not from spilled wine.

Nah

I don't think that Thailand exchanges information on criminals from abroad in the general sense. Possibly when a specific person is wanted. I doubt that a person's details are allowed to be distributed under the data protection acts in most countries.
