Mine was mad at something while we were driving in the car and tried to jump out the door. I slowed down and she was screaming, saying something in Thai. I let her cool down and she got back in and we went home. I never knew what set her off, but I did see her go off so many times over the slightest things I wasn't too surprised. She once went to her other daughters school because she stole a little money from my wallet. It didn't bother me so much and I would have talked to her when she got home, but she went into her class and started beating on her in front of everyone. The problem here is that they see this at home a lot so it didn't faze anyone. My young daughter here told me just today she hit her sister a few times with a broom and dustpan, and also when she found out she had a boyfriend. This is yet another reason we're going to leave here.

There's this 20 year old that wants to come stay here, and a 25 year old I'm trying to persuade. Another 22 year old expressed interest but too shy to sign on the dotted line. I don't think it'll be longer than  a week, tops.

A nicer body does have one overlooking some faults. A good attitude is one of the most important things.

No, I divorced her 5 years ago and have a girlfriend of a tad over 4 years now who isn't violent and is honest. My problem has always been having children with crazies. No more of that. It isn't healthy to live with a narcissist or one who has a very short fuse. Unpredictable and possibly dangerous doesn't make one secure in their own home.

My former wife in Australia was insanely jealous, without cause. Put up with it for 28 years.

 

I won't tolerate bad behavior from a woman anymore. Fortunately, my Thai GF of 13 years is level-headed.

Some are, and some are screwed up from two parent homes with unstable parents in them, or ones that spoiled their child, so you never know. Only one of my children isn't doing so well. The one who picked to move near her mom, at 19, and now lives with her, and not doing so great, although she is working and taking care of the child she has with her.Remember Hitler came from a two parent family, as did many other sociopaths.

I had women in my life most of.my life since 16, but decided early, I did not want kids myself. 

 

Had one single mom, never again. Now happily married, and my intention is to stay married to death separate us. No more need for chasing or being chased. 

There's some epic tales of crazy women in this thread .... I admire the perseverance and tolerance of the men involved, but I thought one of the big advantages of Thailand was that you could find a woman to perfectly match your spec?

 

You don't need to be rich or handsome, just able to look after her and not scare the street dogs with your looks.

 

I wanted a beauty (strong 9+ or 10) with the brains to help run our business, a pleasant caring demeanor and good sense of humour.  Also on my list was not too short, no tattoos, slim, but not skinny .... some curves .... no kids, large expressive eyes, nice shoulders (l like legs and boobs of course, but I think a woman's shoulders can be equally sexy), no plastic surgery, and smooth cappuccino colored skin .... oh and long dark hair but with a touch of auburn when caught in the sun.

 

No need for fancy education, rich parents or Chinese heritage, and cooking is optional.

 

And due to the over-supply of women in Thailand I got one to meet my spec, despite only just managing to pass the 'not scare the street dogs' test.  14 years together now .... and I'd rate her as an 11 when we met, just dropping slightly to a 10 now.

 

So I don't understand why any man with the means to support himself and his partner would put up with the pain mentioned in this thread.  Thailand presents many challenges to us expats, but finding a good woman should not be one of them.

 

Of course there's the alternative strategy of short time rental, but I suspect any woman meeting my spec will expect full ownership or at least a long term.lease.

I would also like to thank all those who contributed stories of extreme trouble women have caused, and how they dealt with it. It confirms that it is not just us who deal with the crazy, chaotic and underhand episodes women unleash now and then,but that this happens to all men. What can we learn form this? That the feminine is the evil, chaotic, dark, manipulative and irrational force that we are up against it. I too have suffered these dark episodes with women and it will probably never end, because that is what feminine nature is all about , irrational, emotional, manipulative and underhand chaos.

 

I also salute Kinnock, for staying the course and being true to his preferences. I certainly will be uncompromising now, after I foolishly relaxed my high standards after initial signals of high interest, smiley fun time indicators, which of course were a mere act.  Ultimately we need to stick to our true preferences.

 

However, this notion of an "over-supply" of women has to be strongly qualified, because whilst there are  a lot of women, a good 90% will not match our preferences. I would go so far as to say that you maybe meet 1 to 5 women every 10 years who truly reach those parts others can't, no more.than that. As someone who is in the trenches now, I have to say things appear to have changed from the 80s and 90s, in that social media, the rise of China and South Korea, and the opening of borders for East Europeans, have created conditions that strongly favour the women, not the men.  Finding a good woman is still a challenge, and perhaps a greater challenge than ever before.

Less that 35 yo, weighing under 50kg, and a female from birth does me.

And if in the PI an additional rule of over 38kg, cos there's too many smaller that just don't fit!

it seemed to me that others also have very particular lists of likes. I mean I don't even know what "sexy shoulders" are, nor do I particularly care. Shoulders are shoulders to me. But clearly Kinnock has that preference, and I think everyone has their particular list. For me, spectacular long wavy hair, tall and slender, that dancer's look, full ilps, beautiful vagina with absolutely nothing that shouldnt' be there, elegant hands, these things are on my list. Skin colour I'm not particular about, white, cappuccino, dark, all good for me.

 

Where I become particular is that I also require character traits that I now realise are very important.
