Of course there's something to contest it - multiple experts on gang affiliations and tattoos have pointed out that these are not known to be symbols associated with MS13.

 

Even US law enforcement does not list these symbols as being MS13-related.

AS i know it, the federal police in immigration already said they were MS13 tats. Why you can not accept that is beyond me. Perhaps they all lied and you and the Dems trying to use this in their political maneuvering just think it is better to argue it than to believe the feds anymore.

My parents were in a christian Harley motorcycle group.  The local Hells Angels for that territory sent out two guys (Reebar and Snake)  when they formed to approve their colors.

See, even you can see that the letters MS13 were added in to the photo. However that's not what Trump believes.

A lot of the discussion here misses the fact that Trump thought the superimposed "MS13" characters were tattoos on the guy.

I would say the fact that those characters were "photoshopped" or added to the photo in some other way is "intuitively obvious to the most casual observer" who is of normal intelligence.

This is completely separate question to whether his tattoos signified MS13.

How could anyone completely fall to understand that photo in the way that Trump clearly did.

For what it's worth I concur that the Democrats were too lax on the border. I have noted before -  I don't really get the starry eyed Statue of Liberty stuff. Some migration is good but having strong  borders is a necessary.

They were looking to fix it somewhat  in the second half of the last term  but Trump stopped that. 

No need to go over the top in response  though - not simply say the ends justifies the means - be fair.
