There are only 30 countries in the "Global" survey instead of the normally around 170 countries in Global surveys...

Who do they actually ask if they are happy for these polls? Lottery winners perhaps. Thai people I wouldn't say are particularly happy they just accept their fate and have given up on the political system, the judicial system so rocking the boat and wanting change are just pipe dreams

Actually that’s not a bad idea. Imagine starting a polling  business selling information to as many countries as they’re prepared to pay for it. Of course each paying customer will choose the ranking for themselves. They can call one “happiest”, another “gladest”, another “cheerfullest”, and so on.

Give it a freaking year. Think it’s all BS now well you can only pay for surveys for so long till the real citizens speak out. Instead of calling the Select few, how about calling your everyday Jo and getting the real insight.

Lol, who did thay ask? Bet they are not representitive of the Thai public at large... I'd say most Thais are pissed-off with stuff right now. These puff articles have no grounding in reality.

India topping the chart, makes me wonder how many people living in poverty there were included in the results? If it was an online thing, then 45% of Indians don’t even have access to the internet. I suspect if you asked Indians across all casts, the result may not show such contentment.

Happiness for extended period of time is a myth.

It doesn't exist.

No one is perpetually happy or even happy most of the time.

Yes life is a rollercoaster
