Sounds like another 'pipeline' plan to join the scores of others. We just need a Thai equivalent of Dyno-Rod to unbung the pipeline and bring the best ideas into fruition. 😉
Missing British Teen Found Arrested in Georgia on Drug Charges
Bella May Culley, an 18-year-old from the UK thought missing in Thailand, was found arrested in Georgia, 4,000 miles away. Authorities caught her at Tbilisi Airport allegedly attempting to smuggle 14kg of cannabis and hashish, facing up to 20 years or life in prison. Her family, who had been searching in Thailand, were devastated by the revelation. Bella had travelled through the Philippines and Thailand before disappearing, with her last message sent on 3 May. Her sudden arrest has turned a feared disappearance into a serious legal crisis abroad.
I think it's just the new normal for these transactions, I just wish Wise had communicated it up front and prevented all the head scratching the apparent change has generated.
Very true.
There is ample evidence the BBC supports Hamas or at least doesn't tell the truth!
Al-Ahli Hospital Blast (Oct 2023): BBC reported an Israeli airstrike based on Hamas’s unverified claim; later evidence pointed to a Palestinian rocket.
Gaza Documentary (Feb 2025): Featured a Hamas official’s son without disclosing ties, pulled after backlash. Biased omission.
Refaat Alareer Interview (Oct 2023): Aired Hamas apologist’s views, later regretted. Supportive framing, not a lie (Times of Israel, Nov 2023).
Terminology: BBC rarely calls Hamas “terrorists” (3.2% of mentions, Honest Reporting 2024), seen as soft-pedaling
