These days immigration links to airline passenger data so a reasonable expectation would be that there would be an issue in Israel if he tried to change passports and enter using a name not on any passenger manifest (especially as reports that I have read suggest that Israeli airport security is far tighter than in many other destinations) so I'm not sure that Israeli immigration would have admitted him?

What would Israeli immigration done with him ?

Deport him ?
