In Pattaya, an Indian tourist, Hemant Bhoj, was allegedly robbed and assaulted by a Thai transwoman after the two engaged in sexual activities. The incident occurred at a hotel on Sai Song Soi 12, where Bohj, 41, was left with a bleeding head wound after being struck with a handbag.

 

The hotel's receptionist, Jamjan, contacted the Sawang Borriboon Thammasathan Rescue Foundation for medical assistance after local police reportedly declined to intervene, citing the incident's ties to prostitution. This inaction allowed the alleged perpetrator to escape, accompanied by a Thai woman and man.

 

Following medical treatment, Bhoj filed a formal complaint with the Mueang Pattaya Police Station. He acknowledged hiring the transwoman for sexual services. After their encounter, he discovered valuables missing and suspected the transwoman of theft. He approached hotel staff with a photograph of the transwoman, seeking help to apprehend her.

 

Jamjan recounted that tensions escalated when Bhoj confronted the transwoman, accusing her of theft. During the ensuing argument, she allegedly struck him with her handbag, inflicting the head injury.

 

Police have informed Channel 7 that they suspect the transwoman might be linked to a gang known for targeting foreign tourists in similar scams. Authorities are currently examining CCTV footage to identify the transwoman and her two accomplices. The incident highlights ongoing challenges in addressing crime in tourist-heavy areas, prompting a closer look at security and legal responses.

Why do people not use safes in their rooms.  I am sorry but when I invite a lady it is usually from a bar as they are safer.  

 

If I was taking off the street I would sanitize my room.  Everything but cash for beer and lady would either be locked up in safe or left at front desk if too big.

 

Also there is a reason usually that they are soo cheap and below market price.

 

I also think a lot of the ladyboys realize the last thing most will want is it known that they went that way.  Would love to here how he expalins it at home bet it is just a lady no mentin of boy

I thought the police don’t usually give out the full name, but here it is in the report? Can’t imagine the Indian guy offered it up to to a reporter to be published in the newspaper? Then again, I suppose it’s possible, he may not be the shaping tool in the box from what’s been written and commented.

Same here - when I used to dabble I always took dancer from a gogo bar. Never had a problem - except they tend to swing emotional handbags. Needs some nous and experience  to deal with.

 

And anyway, when I think of some of the diseases that must be lurking in the dinge of the coconut bar, amongst the ladies, boys or regular (LBs don't float my boat anyway) then I'd just rather not. That place'll be the source of the next pandemic.

The man engaged in a criminal activity. Soliciting a prostitute is a crime. If the  prostitute was a minor, it is  also a crime.

The  man was engaged in an unlawful activity  and is asking the police to intervene.  For all we know, he may have tried to renege on payment. I would not be surprised if he had tried to cheat the prostitute. The type of person who uses the services of a transgender street hooker can not be mistaken for someone decent.
