The dishonesty in reporting by CBS news… Its all in the wording, “bipartisan”...

Featured Replies

A bipartisan group of more than 130 retired judges filed a brief Friday urging a federal court to drop charges against Wisconsin judge Hannah Dugan, saying her arrest undermines "centuries of precedent on judicial immunity."

Who are the judges CBS! At this point I think its secondary, its the shock & awe of the number of dissolution retired judges!

Kinda like a partisan call by activist leftist and Trump haters we’ve become all too familiar with, aka

51 former intel agents, 154 Presidential historians.

Everything is in her favor , Jurisdiction wise. Its all progressive sailing until the SCOTUS gets the decision. Its seems to be heading that way.

“Courts have largely rejected the argument that judges are immune from criminal prosecution for their actions, even when those actions are related to their judicial duties”.

Its interesting to see Google AI offer up their take. &nbsp

The story is based on Cbs report & Google AI

Like all 'accused / charged' defendants, soon to be criminals, she'll have her day in court.  Prosecution has enough CCTV evidence to justify the charge of aiding & abetting a criminal.

Let the system work, as judges aren't and shouldn't be immune from the law.   It's the law, and applies to EVERYONE.

With her obvious bias, she shouldn't even be a judge ... IMHO

So a group consisting of retired judges from both parties makes an appeal.

Where's the dishonesty in that?

There is no such thing as a nonpartisan judge.

And if an allegedly bipartisan agreement is ever reached between judges or politicians, it simply means that I'm scratching your back this time, next time is my turn - and just leave the brown envelope on the desk thank-you-very-much.

The most corrupt are those that bleat the most about being incorruptible. Give me an honest burglar any day of the week.

In every society, those that make, enforce, and adjudicate the law are the most corrupt. Just ask Tacitus.  :coffee1:

Judges are like police officers, they protect their own, guilty or innocent.

As I've said before, imo she's innocent. Seems judges agree with me.

Even if your statement were true, that doesn't make the reporting dishonest.
