The Most Difficult Airline Passenger Ever?

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

This is the most difficult airline passenger with whom I've ever seen airport police have to contend.  She does everything:  fight the cops, run on the tarmac, strip naked in a cell and piss herself.  The incident took place more than a year ago, in February, 2024, but the police body cam footage has only been recently released.  Watch the first minute to get a summary of what happens, then skip forward to 8.20 if you want to avoid a lot of the banter between the woman and first cop on the scene.  They gave me numerous chances to leave the gate.

This is a link to the Atlanta PD's official announcement of the incident:  https://www.atlantapd.org/Home/Components/News/News/5247/71

Below is a 23-second video from a bystander of the actually takedown of woman on the tarmac that was posted on X shortly after it occurred.  The bystander video looks a lot more violent than the body cam footage.   I couldn't find any info on what actually happened to her afterwards.  I would have thought running out on the tarmac would have resulted in Federal charges.

From time to time there are reports of unruly passengers at airports in Thailand,  but nothing that ever came close to the video.

I don't understand why the Police  took her down to the ramp just to kick her out of the airport but it appeared she thought she was going to be arrested, but at that point they were only removing her from the terminal. Then she freaked out and ran for it

Hartsfield-Jackson is a large airport and the concourse which the woman was on was farthest from the domestic terminal.  Cops might have thought it was too far to walk if she were to put up a real fight.  It never looks good if the cops have to carry a screaming woman through a busy airport.  Like in the video below,  she fights like hell.

The woman in the video below attacked and spit on both the gate agent and the police.

Mine, too, but only in spirit, not appearance.

An interesting video about a woman who refuses to settle her bill at an airport restaurant.  Ironically, the woman's given name is "Heavenly."

People lose their minds when they enter airports.

I think in a previous post I described my naked passenger who caused a diversion to my station.

Thing is not only do you end up in jail, but it can be pricey.

I just had to complete another FAA incident report, since apart from the fact he's on a No Fly list, United are billing him for the costs of a diverted International flight.

Fuel, additional airfares for passenger missed connections, hotels, landing fees, the fine United got for an International bag which we couldn't remove in time before the crew timed out and headed to YVR, which alone was $30k.

That boy is looking at several hundred thousands of $.

Plus he better get used to traveling Amtrak and Greyhound!

Stupidity is easy, paying for it is not

Another entertaining video.  It's amazing that people who commit multiple felonies and then lead police on a chase that endangers many lives expect to be treated gently when arrested.  The suspect becomes very compliant very quickly when the K-9 gets ahold of him.

I dread flying domestic in the USA.  Business class helps somewhat.

Avoid the cheap discount airlines.

JAL to/from Thailand is good.  Never witnessed any problem people.

Hmm, my naked guy was in 1A

My guy was actually a CEO of a grocery chain on the East Coast, George Zoitas

So don't think First Class insulates you from crazies!

My favorite quote from him "I'm going to a conference after I get off and need to go for a shower'

I'm sure United will be installing showers for all First Class passenger ASAP

And btw he was flying to Vancouver, YVR

The video shows a side of American society with which tourists to the U.S. seldom come in contact.  It's a very educational video.

To me this looks like a racist thread...

Ignore it then....

So a little update on my naked crazy, and there have been many, I should tell you about the crazy preacher someday!

So family, plus lawyer, flew in tried to get him on a private jet back to LGA, but if you are on a No Fly list, if money is going to be exchanged that ain't happening.

So they concocted a plan to get him on a medical flight.

The plan was to get him back to the airport, drug him and put him on a medical flight.

I know this, since they are New Yorkers and they're loud, everyone in in the FBO office heard the plan

So they're in the car telling him they are actually going to drive to Gillette where he could get on a regular flight, but smart cookie that he is sussed out the plan, got the driver pull over on the freeway, then hightailed down the embankment.

I tell you, smart/rich/crazy it's a fine line

Crazy Preacher that's a whole thread by itself!

Said it before folks lose their frikkin minds as they enter an airport

So cant help myself.

Crazy Preacher.

So I'm called up to the gate by the gate agent, some guy is causing trouble.

I get there, big guy, of course he's wearing a cowboy hat with a cross on the front on his hat

Doors are closed, we've already pulled back the bridge plane is ready to taxi

"I gotta be in Plano to give a service tonight"

I tell him that's not going to happen, knocks me to the floor, barges past the gate agent opens the door and heads onto the ramp.

Aircraft is already pushing.

I'm getting the cops, we're chasing him across the ramp

The Lord may well have been with him, but he spent the night in jail

And as addendum to my last post

You would probably be amazed at how many of us airport workers have been subjected to physical violence by crazy passengers.

Multiple that 100x for the verbal abuse from stupid passengers,

Sorry you missed your flight you got here 10 mins before departure!

So another one

Had a guy on Tuesday hammering on our office door.

I need to get on my flight to Chicago, due to depart in 10 minutes

On which airline?  There are two flights to Chicago at the same time, one United one American

American.

Sir, we are United not American

Don't care get me on that plane.

Then swings a punch at the agent at the door

Again get the cops and he's off in cuffs

People are frikkin crazy as soon as they enter an airport!

I should also note the agent was female. She's 5ft nothing maybe 100ib dripping wet yet this guy decided it was fine to punch her. Sometimes I despair about humanity!

I cant help myself but to add detail.

So idiot guy punches my agent. She's on the floor. Three of my young boys wrangle this idiot to the floor while I'm calling the LEO.

He won't give in after the boys get off him

Cop eventually tasered him to calm him down

I've got a distraught young girl who did nothing wrong crying hysterically

This is real life for airport workers

The Most Difficult Airline Passenger Ever?

No, far from being the most difficult. The videos posted here show grown adults throwing tantrums, yelling, cussing and fighting. Big deal, but people thrive on the drama. Seems to me the 19 al-Qaeda terrorists that hijacked four commercial airplanes on September 11, 2001 were a bit more difficult. Any passenger who has ever hijacked an airplane would be more difficult than the examples shown here.

I will certainly agree that hijackers would be  the most difficult airline passengers, just like armed robbers would be the most difficult bank or convenience store customers and serial killers the most difficult customers for go go bars.  But it's fortunate, truly fortunate,  that very few customers board an airplane or enter a business establishment with the intention of committing a violent felony.  There are many customers, however, who cause problems without deadly violence.

The problem types, not the violent felons, were the subject of this thread.

But I wonder if this passenger did get a felony charge.
