Report Cambodia Threatens Action Amid Rising Tensions with Thailand
I totally disagree. Thai businesses will suffer with the loss of millions (if not billions) of baht in lost revenue in exports to Cambodia and beyond! For reference today:- (IMO Thailand - the LOSER!) Thailand transports hundreds of trucks of [produce] a day to Vietnam, but today there is congestion at the border after Cambodia closed it. ........first, stop [using Thai] internet, second, stop showing Thai movies in Cambodia (this also includes Thai TV channels including the dreaded soaps), and third, close the gate, which directly affects (Thai) farmers. https://www.khmertimeskh.com/501700062/hun-sen-i-support-the-governments-move-to-close-the-cambodia-thailand-border-crossing-in-battambang-province/ There is now an active social media campaign (on Facebook in my case) by the Cambodian Government to support Khmer farmers when buying fresh food. I do wherever I can. I already avoid many Thai non-perishable items due to the very high sugar content making them disgustingly sweet to eat. I am a diabetic. -

What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2025)
I eventually managed to find a very good three-part series called, "A Very English Scandal" (not to be confused with a similar one entitled, "A Very British Scandal") and it starred Hugh Grant as Jeremy Thorpe and Ben Wishaw as Norman Scott and was about the Jeremy Thorpe homosexual scandal and the lies that went with it. I enjoyed watching it again and picked up a few things I'd missed the first time round, but what I couldn't get past was the superb acting of Hugh Grant and Ben Wishaw, in fact it was well acted throughout. It would appear that there were quite a few "shirt lifters" throughout the governing parties, not to mention the judiciary!
