Using Grab at Phuket airport?

Featured Replies

If you arrive at the domestic terminal of Phuket Airport, is it possible to book a taxi using Grab, or are you required to use the official airport taxi queue?
Does anyone have the most up-to-date information on this?

Grab can. Afaik indrive or bolt not possible, you'll have to go to the main road for those.

There is a Grab pick up area you will see when you exit. Just be aware that Grab can be the most expensive way to get where you're going. When you get off the plane, check the rate and also ask at the official area. The official taxis can often be cheaper.

Yes official taxis are cheaper..done that.

Book it and walk straight out to the main road and pick it up under the big sign. Opposite the entrance to the car park.

Its 20m to the right when you exit domestic. Big green grab pickup point.

Prices in my experience are about the same as the official rates.

There is a big board displaying the official rates on the wall in the baggage collection area.
