Bank statement for Non-O: Savanakhet and Vientiane

Featured Replies

I am seeking clarification on what has been accepted as part of the evisa Non-O application at both of these consulates.

My understanding is the evisa application only allows a single document to be uploaded for proof of financials. A fellow member applying at Vientiane confirmed this on a recent (May 2025) thread where they accepted the bank statement he uploaded.

Is the bank statement that you can download online or from the banking app accepted at either Vientiane or Savanakhet? Or does it need to be a print out obtained from a branch of the bank?

Many thanks,

NL

Thinking that would be accepted however is it worth it when a visit to the bank they can issue you a 3 month bank statement with hopefully a pretty official bank stamp.

A downloadable statement is fine, as long as it has the required details. What they don't accept are screenshots of an app or banking website, it does have to be a statement.
