Officers with ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston in partnership with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives arrested Jon Luke Evans July 25 in Biddeford.

At the time of his arrest, Evans was employed as a reserve police officer with the Old Orchard Beach Police Department.

This is what would result if the far left radicals control federal & state funding in smaller communities. The Old Orchard Beach seaside town ,is a beautiful  tourist attraction,I lived 2 hours away and visited it often.

I hope the feds dig into the department in Maine who abused any and all Federal Law.

Sorry did not realize it had already been covered. Anyway the LAPD hired two from the DACA program.  Just one problem: The DACA officers could not buy a firearm for off duty carry. So the DACA LAPD officers can carry the department issued firearm while on duty but have to leave them in their lockers once they are off the clock. No way I could imagine things like this when I was working the streets of LA back in the stone ages of the 1980's, 90's and 2000's. "Strange New World".

Or never hired in the first place. They could work Traffic detail and write parking citations. As for working the front desk I always wore my vest and had my firearmw with me. Especially at night some weird things happen in police station lobbies. More than a few times I had to draw, call for back up and made arrests while working the front desk.
