American Tourist Assaulted by Bar Owner for Filming Venue

What, he's gone into hiding - maybe fled the country? I would suggest looking in the bar but that's just me

Is he the owner or the manager of the bar? It's a big question. Last I heard, most of these owners are not living in Pattaya, are they?

I just don't understand why so many blokes think violence of any kind is acceptable.  It looks and sounds like the bar owner didn't like being told he might get f'd up by the guy 'if you want to

Not just that, but a lot of these girls have told their family they are waiting tables in a restaurant.  Last thing they need is mama to see them in a bar

Even the whole village knows. They pretend it is not happening, because every family have someone working there, and if one starts, more follow.

There is no secrets. Still going viral in public at social media, because of an ignorant idiot who wants to make money, so he can continue his dream life (<deleted> life) exploiting others?

More like the police are waiting for the foreigner to leave so they do not have to deal with it.. The man showed them evidence. The police should have gone directly to make an arrest warrant and to arest the bar owner. What is there to investigate if the man has a vdo recording and ready to press charges?

Maybe because the video shows the “victim“ threatening the bar owner, and they think he asked for it?

just a guess.

I've been following him since 2013. He actually has alot of great free content on Youtube. Some of his videos definitely helped me at some points in my life.

So in your opinion... it is ok to resort to violence when you do not like the words being spoken? '

So the guy threatening the owner acts like he's about that life, but when his sh*t gets pushed back, he runs to the police and snitches? Lol.

Yeah, I don’t think he should go back to Pattaya, to be honest. That’s one of the easiest ways to go missing. His arrogance and lack of self-awareness put him in this position, not the filming.

It does work, especially if you want to get laid. The last chapter, stolen by him from other books, tells how to keep a woman you found. The gist of it is using many women, taking advantage of them like a player does. His students brag about body counts, and some women actually like him, too dense to see what he really is. It's like those who are Trump worshipers, not understanding just what he really is and what many of his motives are, along with him doing some good things because all presidents have to live up to some promises, especially to get re-elected. He's dark but a hero to some.

In the real world, words have consequences. You have to be accountable for what comes out of your mouth. Personally, I wouldn't resort to violence—but a lot of people would.

There are just certain things you don’t say to the wrong person. People have literally lost their lives over saying things like “suck my d*.”**

So it's not about whether it's okay or not. It's about understanding reality and knowing that not everyone plays by the same rules.

How about… just treat people with respect? It blows my mind how some people have zero manners in public.

I get where you’re coming from, but I don’t really watch his content for the dating or “get laid” stuff. What I’ve found helpful is his material on self-growth, mindset, and bouncing back after setbacks — especially breakups. I’m more into the personal development side of things than the player mentality.

Yeah sings lol... people here make fun of you because of a typo, I have posting here for like forever,

never thought to fun of someone because of a keyboard slip, but that's ok, it's all a good fun,

( I just hope there no typo in this post God forbid)

Kombaya generation is to gullible To realize there is consequences for stupidity or being up front stupidity against people who are tired of ignorant people who think they can do what they want

Never, that's never snitch on a bar owner in Pattaya.  They know most of the police & NEVER film or video in a bar in certain areas unless you're prepared to get a beating.

The guy was a tw@t.

In a word YES! In Soi Buakhao.  Do not come to Pattaya if you don't understand the rules.

But why would someone saying something like that cause anyone to start a fight?

What kind of upbringing do these people have?    Fighting should be the very last resort, only used when every other option has been tried.

There should be a mandatory one month closure of every venue where a fight occurs.

Of course this wouldn't stop Justice to follow its course..

I think the guy with the camera should be held in a prison cell for two months while the police find the bar owner and help him with his story.

Then ASK HER and the Bar manager permission; first!

Regardless if the pay off the cops, it is now in the media and the cops do not want to lose face....especially now with low season and all the fights in Pattaya and Phuket.  Better get some cash and make this go away.

Only cowards hit someone because of words...real men fight when they are attacked...the bar owner is a sensitive guy or on roids.

For those who can't watch the video with sound, it's pretty much this: the camera guy enters the bar after it was closed in a very obnoxious and confrontational way saying he will stay there all night and doesn't give a f...

Bar owner introduces himself then the cameraman says it was a joke then proceeds to threaten.

The bar owner dealt with the issue swiftly and efficiently, one slap (not punch) then proceeded to remove the idiot from the premises. No unnecessary violence, no beating after the idiot was down. Imo this is how it should be.

Definitely a FAFO case, that was the slap his parents should've delivered years ago.

You are not supposed to hit someone in Pattaya or anywhere, unless physically attacked.  Pay the piper...the American was an idiot, but he got a good case for some BIB envelopes.

What is the name of this Family, Friendly Bar in that wonderful family, friendly resort of Pattaya?

Looks like some moron bar manager is in trouble...if the American did not hit him first, then it is clear that the Brit or Irish dude is roid up and now will have to pay up.

The loud mouth American got exactly what he deserved and then ran like a little beoootch to the cops afterwards

Which is exactly why it's common sense you shouldn't film in there. But filming isn't why he was attacked - he was being an a**hole and got a well deserved slap. I'm surprised he actually bothered to go to police, he's clearly the one who instigated it. Hopefully he goes back home and never comes back - this is exactly the type of useless loser Thailand does not need.

You are not supposed to trespass and threaten staff either. Reasonable force was employed to remove him, case closed. Highly doubt the owner will get in trouble over this.
