Immigration is extending by a month the required time you're via money seasons

Featured Replies

The immigration officer we know in Phuket was telling her that the marraige visa money needed to be seasoned for 90 days. Wait it's 60 days, he must be mistaken!

Nope, I've just heard the requirements have been immediately changed to 90 days for marraige and 4 months for your 800,000.

Imagine the confusion this is going to create? I can only hope it's not what appears to be.

I take it that is 90 days you have to have it held on deposit before you can then apply for an extension?......so if you apply 30 days before your due date....... the money is effectively tied up for four months.....correct?

Nothing has changed.  It's not 60 days for marriage visa, it's 2 months.

The 4 months thing is a Bangkok Bank thing.  Take it up with them if you have issues.

Why would the Bangkok bank be involved in anyway with immigration requirements?.......genuine question.

That doesn't make sense. The non-o visa is for 90 days. How can you have a bank account open and money in it for 90 days before extension?

Is that new requirement for second extension?

Your thread is nonsense.

There is an issue with Bangkok Bank currently and couple of threads running on that however not as you posted.

This is not an immigration requirement.

A Non O visa would provide a 90 day stamp.

The funds in bank would need to be seasoned for 2 months for both marriage and retirement for FIRST extension.

The OP post is not credible
