By March 2025, farm bankruptcy filings had already surpassed the total for all of 2024, with 259 Chapter 12 filings in just Q1.

This kid is a total <deleted> moron.

No no, you misunderstand. Countries like Cambodia, Thailand, Nigeria will now start to import enormous quantities of American cars, golf clubs, gas grills, Whirlpool fridges, Cheetos etc.

It's bound to happen!

Japan investment deal. HUGE win for America's greatest POTUS.

The $550 billion Japanese investment pledge carries several potential downsides.

Much of the capital is concentrated in AI infrastructure and energy‑intensive data centres, which will strain regional power grids and raise environmental concerns.

The headline figure includes previously announced investments, meaning the economic boost is overstated.  By capping tariffs at 15%, U.S. manufacturers still face higher costs for imported components, while domestic industries exposed to Japanese competition could feel squeezed.

The political framing of the deal as a “win” will result in a backlash when job creation and economic benefits do not materialise.

Lol! Japan has been the first foreign investor in the U.S. for at least 10 years! It invested $783 billion in 2023

Your lack of knowledge of international trade is as obvious as your lack of masculinity

You are no Mr Peabody so I wouldn't be casting shade on others since you don't know anything about the mechanics of global economics or the impact on tariffs which Trump continues to waffle on. The impact is coming and we cant mfr enough cheaply to compete nor do we have the infrastructure to mfr at this levels.

for sure they are especially after God invented Donald Trump and the MAGA phenomenon sweeping the globe.

Surprise surprise! Another lying MAGA propaganda tweet reposted by the usual propaganda B.S. reposter! :laugh::laugh:

After months of wavering support and signs of growing disillusionment, new polling suggests Gen Z voters are beginning to drift back toward the Democratic Party.

The latest Pew Research data shows that 49 percent of Gen Z voters lean toward the Democrats, while 43 percent lean toward the Republicans.

That marks a shift from 2024 when more Gen Z voters leaned toward the Republicans than the Democrats for the first time ever, with 47 percent backing Republicans and just 46 percent identifying as Democrats.

Gen Z is Shifting Back Toward Democrats

Trump, securing America's border as promised. All you HATERS, are you happy with this incredible MAGA Trump America policy to secure our sovereign border in keeping with his (President Trumps) oath of office unlike treasonous traitor Biden who willfully promoted the invasion of no less than 10M illegal criminal aliens into the US!

Ya mean like Astra Zeneca dropping 50 billion into a new plant in Virgina?

Astra produces mainly for US only. Key product heavily focussed on oncology. No diversification is to be seen.

There are better companys in the pharmaceutical industry. Roche as example. They won't move their headquarters from Basel / Switzerland to the US where the brain drain is pushing out scientists to other countries worlwide. Europe and Australia are both delighted.

But it's OK if you are happy with your messias. You choosed him, you hail him, you have to stick with him the next 3.5 years. We will see then how many winners in the US will be left.

Haha, that's a typical problem of the US. Lots (not all) of you never seem to realize, that reading only american news the rest of the whole entire world doesen't excist.

But it's ok. Stay in your american bubble. And repeat over and over again that you are winning.

I have a question for you about autosuggestion: How long does it feel like reality?

I see, you are running out with arguments... Let's discuss like educated people?!

Back to the fact why there is a brain drain out of the US...

The brain drain phenomenon in the US refers to the emigration of highly skilled and educated individuals, particularly researchers and scientists, to other countries, often for better opportunities or a more favorable research environment. This trend has raised concerns about the potential weakening of the US's scientific and technological leadership.

Causes of the Brain Drain:

Decreased Funding for Research:
Some reports suggest that cuts in federal funding for universities and research institutions, particularly under the Trump administration, have created uncertainty and reduced opportunities for researchers in the US.

Attractiveness of other Countries:

European countries and Canada have been actively recruiting US-based researchers, offering competitive funding, research opportunities, and a more stable environment.

They are actively trying to attract US-based researchers by offering attractive funding and research opportunities.

I wish you a pleasant evening...

P.S. Goooood news for you. Congrats!

Drug prices will go down in the US. See what your messias has announced:
