The 5th doesn’t apply once a pardon has been given as the pardoned person cannot incriminate themselves.

Surely, if she had info that could take powerful people down, she either never would have been sentenced, or she would have been silenced already.  It makes no sense for her to now be in a position where she can say "Let me out or I spill the beans", as that would surely have been on the table as soon as she was arrested.

She might expire, although the source is the Daily Fail, so I doubt it is actually true until there is evidence, e.g. she is standing before Congress.   She might  even get rich if she lies sufficiently to protect a specific person.

She will never get it. Perhaps a commutation of sentence for compassionate reasons. She is  62 years old and was sentenced to 20 years + 5 years supervision + $750,000 fine. Trump might cut a deal that sees her released as he leaves office. She knows where some of the skeletons are hidden.

I would welcome her testimony if she would be willing to tell the truth. But that's a big if. But if she did, then this chapter could be closed and people could move on. Very unlikely to happen though. The Trump cover up will continue until he's shown the door.

She was arrested during Trump's first term. All evidence that could implicate Trump was removed at that time, and a deal was made.

Unlucky for Ghislaine, Trump didn't succeed in rigging the 2020 election, and the Dems were in charge when she got sentenced.

Did she really get a deal though? 20 years for a 60+ year old woman, it could end up being a life sentence. Anyway, it's not really about physical evidence at this point. It's what's inside her head. She's probably the only one who really knew everything. I think she would be worth being given an audience.

Read my post again, she got the deal with Trump as he expected to win the next election, but it were actually the democrats that were in power when she got sentenced, and all references to Trump were already removed from the client list, so the dems couldn't be bothered to make it public, as it would implicate some of their own.

I think all she would have to do is confirm Trump slept with a number of underage girls on Pedo-Isle and then confirm the authenticity of Trump's birthday love letter that just came out in the WSJ, and case closed.

FBI agents were told to ‘flag’ any Epstein records that mentioned Trump, Sen. Durbin says

FBI agents assigned earlier this year to review investigative files in the criminal case against notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were instructed to “flag” any documents that mentioned President Donald Trump, Sen. Richard Durbin said Friday.

 

Durbin’s claim came as the Illinois Democrat sent the Justice Department and FBI letters asking them to explain what his office called “apparent discrepancies regarding the handling of the Epstein files and findings from a July 7 Department of Justice (DOJ) memorandum and instructions reportedly received by FBI personnel.”

 

Durbin’s letters, which were addressed to Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino, added to pressure on the Trump administration over Bondi’s decision to withhold from the public evidence about Epstein despite past promises that it would be released.

 

Durbin is the ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which has oversight over the Justice Department and FBI.

 

The senator’s description of instructions given to FBI agents regarding mentions of Trump’s name was made in the letter to Patel. 

 

Trump is a former friend of Epstein, who died from suicide in a Manhattan federal jail in August 2019, weeks after his arrest on child sex trafficking charges.

 

On Thursday night, The Wall Street Journal reported that a “bawdy” letter bearing Trump’s signature was sent to Epstein in 2003 for this 50th birthday. Trump has angrily denied writing such a letter and said he will sue the Journal.

 

“According to information my office received, the FBI was pressured to put approximately 1,000 personnel in its Information Management Division (IMD) … on 24-hour shifts to review approximately 100,000 Epstein-related records in order to produce more documents that could then be released on an arbitrarily short deadline,” Durbin wrote to Patel.

 

“This effort, which reportedly took place from March 14 through the end of March, was haphazardly supplemented by hundreds of FBI New York Field Office personnel, many of whom lacked the expertise to identify statutorily-protected information regarding child victims and child witnesses or properly handle FOIA requests,” the letter said.

“My office was told that these personnel were instructed to ‘flag’ any records in which President Trump was mentioned.”

 

CNBC has requested comment on Durbin’s letter from the FBI.
