Need to raise the level of soil up to the top of the lowest horizontal green bar. The high to the top is 15cm. and I don’t want whatever I use to fill in the gap, to be above the top of the bottom green bar ..ie 15cm. And I want an easy job … any suggestions what to use please?

I’ve considered tiles or something like smartboard …any comments or suggestions please.

Thank you for the suggestion but  I see that it is only 5cm high.  That area contained a hedge but it had got old so decided to replace it.

It’s part of a bigger project to install an artificial lawn. With what’s already been done if I don’t raise that level the lawn will end up well above the soil level and wash it away  each time it rains.  I will install a drain pipe at the corner.

I’m thinking floor tiles 15cm by 60cm glued or cemented in could be the way to go.

A lawn for aesthetics then? Maybe bricks after a little dig, a little below level with the outside walkway, then the arti lawn on top, having it level with the walkway? The boards or tiles can also work, but I'm thinking bricks would be less expensive.

When we bought the house new, some twenty years ago now it had a lovely lawn and hedge. But over the years both deteriorated. So decided to take the lawn up, hedge out and replace both.

To cut a long story short eventually decided that we would lay, well not us, artificial turf with putting green quality material in the middle section, someone is so keen on golf!! We agreed with the guy how we would get rid of the water when it rained and that I would do some preparation work. There will be a section of small stones between the edge of the lawn, to catch the water and then it will be taken out, through a pipe in the corner of each section.

The veg is being moved into the into back garden. We have a helper who likes to garden/grow veg. Those blocks were put in months ago by her whilst we were away! Guess those blocks will soon be stacked outside with a ‘help yourself notice’.    lol

Going to buy a couple of lengths of that material, then can decide if I need to glue two pieces together to increase the strength or not. Thought I’d glue them in position with something like No Nails.

I'd go with a low level wall 25/50cm back from the fence. Plant something colourful in the gap.

Just blocking off the bottom bit risks looking messy

If you want easy, I would go with the red interlocking bricks. Think they are 90mm so you would end up with 180mm high. You can get them with a flat top and  half bricks  are availabe for the ends, bricks usually 10 baht each so maybe a cost issue.

Alternative would be cement board, but a decent thickness. Think it is available up to 25mm thick and 200mm wide and in 3 metre lengths.  You could get a length of 20mm sq hollow section to cut into short pieces to use as posts. Board can then be screwed to the hollow section with self drilling screws.

I think you could end  up in trouble  with any attempt to use floor tiles. When the soil gets wet there will quite a pressure on the support and floor tiles would need a fair bit of reinforcement. Better to have a stronger method to start with.
