TRUE/DTAC Prepaid SIM 'Account' Self-Service Numbers

Featured Replies

Once upon a time I used a DTAC prepaid SIM for the primary purpose of making and receiving calls and SMS. I restricted my usage of the Internet by using only local Wi-Fi connections. I was able to make use of DTAC's self-service numbers in order to inhibit my phone from connecting to the Internet whilst I was roaming around the Kingdom. At the there were two separate numbers to deactivate and activate the Internet, which no longer appear to exist! Does anyone know if this is still possible following the merger between TRUE and DTAC?

The reason I ask is that I have recently noticed my prepaid phone balance draining markedly!

According DTAC website;

Disable dtac internet

Direct Number (USSD)

*104*72*9#

What did they say when you called them to ask?

'Your request is being processed. Please wait for SMS in your inbox.'

I'm still waiting for an SMS an hour later!

"What did they say when you called them to ask?" - That's my last resort.

If you don't want your phone to connect to the Internet why don't you just turn mobile data off? Maybe it is different on an IPhone, but on Android I can turn mobile data on when I need the Internet but don't have a WiFi connection and turn it off if I don't want to use any mobile data.

On Android go to Settings and turn Mobile Data ON/OFF as needed

On IPhone go to Settings and turn Cellular ON/OFF as needed
